A Saiyan's Journey

Chapter 171: Hayasaka Ai’s Gradual Unfolding

After learning that the "Healing Angel" was Gabriel, Shin felt as though he had fulfilled a long-standing wish.

One had to admit, her self-proclaimed status as a "beautiful girl" wasn't entirely baseless. Despite Gabriel's current state of dishevelment, her innate beauty remained undeniable.

How to put it... She somewhat resembled Hitori Gotou? Both were naturally beautiful but appeared worn down due to personal neglect.

However, compared to Hitori Gotou's socially anxious personality, Gabriel was far more brazen. Shin even wished they could balance each other out in terms of boldness.

Gabriel was still unaware that her true identity had been discovered by Shin. Tonight, she continued probing him in the online game, trying to figure out how he made his money.

Naturally, Shin wouldn't divulge his secrets. He suspected that if he did, Gabriel might genuinely consider joining the underworld.

Don't underestimate her—when it comes to microtransactions, she's willing to go to any lengths, even threatening to blow the world to smithereens at the slightest provocation.

"…Maybe I should find some time to visit her with arrow'? Since she's an angel, there's a chance she might qualify as a Stand user."

This thought amused Shin—could angels become Stand users?

In JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, there were various Stand-using animals—dogs, birds, mice, you name it—but angels as Stand users were unheard of.

Since Shin now knew where Gabriel lived, he figured he might actually try it out. Creating an angelic Stand user could be quite interesting.

For Gabriel, as long as money was involved, she probably wouldn't mind. If Shin offered to pay, she likely wouldn't object to becoming a Stand user.

After logging off the game, it was late at night. Shin and Sayu Ogiwara lay down in bed.

Sayu had already fallen asleep—after all, she needed to wake up early to make breakfast for Shin. Naturally, she had to rest early.

Tonight, Shin didn't do much with Sayu. On one hand, she'd been feeling a bit tired these past few nights and needed a break.

On the other hand, he'd already spent the afternoon with Hayasaka Ai, which left him in a calm, contented state.

Before sleeping, Shin chatted with Megumi Kato as he had in recent days—the frequency of their conversations had increased significantly.

However, just as Shin was about to put his phone away and enter the mission world, a new chat notification popped up.

It was from Hayasaka Ai. The message included a selfie and a teasing caption:

"Testing if my phone can capture the existence of a Stand."

In the photo, Hayasaka Ai was dressed rather provocatively, essentially in lingerie. Her expression was playful and flirtatious, clearly aiming to provoke Shin.

Of course, Stands couldn't be captured in photos. Evidently, Hayasaka Ai was covered by her maid Stand in the picture, making it seem like she was just wearing lingerie.

Hayasaka Ai obviously knew Stands couldn't be photographed, but she sent the picture anyway, making her intentions crystal clear.

"This girl... She's really let her guard down around me."

Shin chuckled, thinking about how much more open Hayasaka Ai had become after their interaction that afternoon.

Thankfully, the events earlier in the day had helped Shin regain his composure. Otherwise, seeing such a photo might have spurred him to take action.

Originally, he thought Hayasaka Ai had contacted him to report on the Shinomiya family, but instead, she sent a private photo and teasing message.

It seemed that, in Hayasaka Ai's mind, teasing him was more important than Shinomiya family intelligence.

"Well, it's nothing critical anyway…"

Shin didn't dwell on it. The Shinomiya family wasn't likely to make any major moves for now, and Hayasaka Ai didn't have much to report.

[Respected Zuke, please select a mission world to enter: 1. Dragon Ball (Time Unaltered); 2. JoJo's Bizarre Adventure (Time Unaltered); 3. TYPE-MOON (Main Quest Generating)]

[Respected Zuke, you have two mission entries remaining for today.]

Entering the dream realm, Shin once again arrived at the mission world selection screen.

Since the TYPE-MOON main quest was still being generated, today's two entries were destined for the JoJo and Dragon Ball worlds.

Shin was eager to unlock a fourth mission world.

He speculated that once the TYPE-MOON main quest was ready, even a 1% synchronization rate could grant him an additional mission entry.

At that point, Shin could enter three mission worlds daily, making the current three worlds feel insufficient.

"But there's no point stressing over it now. I don't even know what conditions unlock a fourth world. I'll just take it one step at a time."

With a sigh, Shin shifted his focus to the JoJo world.

His plan was to leave a coordinate on Koichi Hirose using "Blackbird: Lover." Once Koichi took a long flight to Italy, Shin could teleport to his location and find both him and Part 5's protagonist, Giorno Giovanna.

By leveraging Giorno and his group, Shin aimed to track down Diavolo and defeat him to complete the main quest.

He'd considered extreme measures—like obliterating Italy with a Kamehameha—but doing so might destroy the "Arrow" needed to evolve his Stand.

Plus, the mission world retained the impact of his actions. Destroying Italy could lead to unpredictable, bizarre main quests in the future. For now, Shin decided restraint was the better path.

After marking Koichi, Shin planned to head to the Dragon Ball world.

In addition to training under King Kai, he wanted to ask for the coordinates of the Galactic Prison to locate Moro.

Moro's ability to absorb planetary energy for power might hold the key to rapid strength enhancement. Shin, now possessing magic, hoped he could replicate it.

Of course, there was the possibility that Moro's ability was unique to him. If that were the case, Shin might test whether his Stand "Blackbird" could absorb Moro instead.

To be continued...
