LIGHT NOVEL Chapter 6: chapter 6 The Ball
" Aurora!!!" I quickly covered my mouth with my hands, " why is your chest so big…, we have… to wrap it tightly so ..so we won't get discovered" Aurora replied back panting.
" Are you trying to strangle the life out of me?" I answered as my spirit finally returned back into my body, when I looked behind me, I saw Aurora placing one of her legs on my bed and the other on the floor while using her two hands to tighten the wrap around my chest.
" Bear with me, I am almost done," she answered assuringly while biting on her lower lip, the look on her face was that of a warrior determined to defeat her enemy, at that moment I knew I was gone. My eyes rolled to the back of my " I am deeeaaad!!" I screamed holding my makeup table tightly " ahhhhhh" Aurora screamed too as she tightened it. In fact we both were screaming as if our life depended on it. I still wondered why the guards didn't check up on me.
" Calista?" Aurora called out, my mind returned back to the present, my hands instantly went back to my chest" what? I'm good" I answered blushing as I remembered what I went through.

" whoaaa" the horse finally came to a halt, " sires we have arrived" the coachman informed us. We came outside " thank you sir, here is your payment " I deepened my voice while talking to the coachman. Aurora laughed at the effort I was putting on, to match my supposed character. She tried to place her hand on my shoulder but I swiftly dodged it " please behave like a gentleman that you are" I said politely acting as a gentleman myself by placing my hands behind me, but that only made her laugh harder.
She is always unserious, well at least one of us is reasonable. It is like we were created to cause and fall in trouble, well we will gladly embrace it.
" We should find a way to get inside the palace," I said as my eyes fell on the guards at the entrance of the palace. We both nodded in agreement as we knew that was going to be difficult to achieve.
The mansion in the palace looked enormous and was screaming luxury, the architecture, and the wolf statue that was placed at the centre of the water fountain in the middle of the palace, was so mystical .
This was my first time in the palace and I wouldn't lie, it looked so elegant. The garden looks so peaceful with different flowers on each side of the field.
We elegantly walked to the entrance " please show us your invitation card" one of the guards politely asked. We began to search around our bodies " it seemed like we had forgotten our invitation, can you let us in?" I asked while I tilted my head slightly upward to intimidate them, "no!, no invitation card, no entry" the other guard growled at me.
The hair at the back of our neck stood up instantly, we unconsciously took a few steps backward, just like me, Aurora's wolf has yet not awakened. The guard was so terrifying. I took a few more steps backward and I bumped into a thick strong wall.
I turned around to see the wall and behold I felt instantly speechless as my eyes locked into the man's eyes, it felt as if we were in a world of our own, what was I looking at, an angel?, was this man sketched out from a picture? How could someone be this handsome?
" Cal" Aurora called me, snapping me out of my trance " I am sorry sir for bumping into you" I tried to maintain my voice. I couldn't help but to stare at those dark brown eyes, which could be mistaken for black.
His neat black hairs combed all back, with few strands falling on his face. His chiselled cheeks, and his shaped jaw makes him really stand out, and look so ethereal.
Beside him was a man with long blonde hair, which was tied down. He also looks ethereal.
But I could feel a murderous aura coming from these two men who look like they just walked out from a painting. " Scram, " the man with the raven said in a menace tone.
If I felt scared from the guard's growl, now I am terrified a thousand more times, " who are these magnificent creatures?" I couldn't help but to wonder. The amount of power and energy surrounding them could not be easily ignored.
Aurora quickly held me as I almost lost my footing, I looked at the men who were about to head inside the mansion, I decided to play with my luck " excuse me sir" I said with my heart almost jumping out of its cage.
The two men stopped by the entrance, I quickly ran towards them, Aurora who was behind me tried to stop me from approaching them, but I ignored her.
I got closer to him, " ca…n we come with you inside? Unfortunately we ha..ve lost our invitation card, we will be ve..ry glad if you co..uld help us sir" I said, stuttering as I gazed at the shoulders of the man with raven black hair, I couldn't look straight into their eyes. That would look like I was signing my death petition. I don't know but I felt so.
(Third person POV)
Alexander turned around to look at the man, who had the guts to ask him that question. He wondered if he was so brave or if it was just a high level of stupidity.
Right now he was so very irritated and he would have loved to snap this man's neck. His eyes running Calista up and down, staring at her. He had a rather small frame for a man and his face looked too smooth for a man, Alexander thought, but before he could confirm his hypothesis, a voice echoed from behind them "you may come in".
Alexander turned around and saw a young man with short brown hair, he was wearing a blue and white suit. His dark blues eyes were so warm and serene. He wasn't that far behind in terms of handsomeness.
