COMA: Fragmented Reality

Chapter 108: Prologue: The Destruction of Creation

As the fate bent by those who preceded him would've had it, an end that they desired to achieve has finally come close and knowing this, they peacefully accepted their ends to leave the rest of the work to the Ephraim who was fated to receive it.

However, there is one more component in this reality that differed greatly from those that preceded it...

"I just noticed now... while you did give them a clue before they headed out to fight Babel and its cohorts, you never said that you ever provided them with aid."

"...And what do you mean by saying that?"

"What I'm saying is that even if you're just a figment of Lady Cecilia's persona and power, you are still without a doubt "her"... If so, then that must mean—"

"You're right... I've never mentioned it before since none of your predecessors thought they can ask for that, but yes, I am indeed "her" and I while it's only a portion of it, the power and authority I hold is still immense. Now that it's clear, what do you mean to ask by stating this?"

Ephraim's fate in this world ensured the possibility of the desired ending... and his answer to Cecilia's question solidified it.

"...I need your help. For the sake of our promise... and the sake of those that I wish to save."
