Combat Maid Harem

Chapter 877: Unexpected Visitor From The Universe

"It's true."

Reavire took a step forward. She pressed her whole body against Lawrend's and touched their lips together. No matter how the others looked at her, she looked like a maiden in love.

"..."

"..."

Ember and Aleshia didn't know what to do with the emotions left in their chests. They understood everything Lawrend said, and it made sense, given his character. They trusted him.

However, they couldn't accept the sudden change for the Goddess. They knew she was powerful, so powerful that she could reset a whole world if she tried her best.

"I want to fight her!" Ember shouted.

"M-Me too!" Aleshia joined in.

"I want to know if a God can be dissolved in my stomach!" Elena took a step forward.

"Hmph. Only we can show such gross display of affection with Master!" Humility, likewise, took a shaky step.

Amene: "Perfect timing. I learned a new bow technique."

Ella: "Can I send the Goddess to another world?"

Grape and Nao looked at each other and shook their heads. They had the spirit, but their bodies didn't want to try. Just Reavire's eyes spooked the two of them to fall on the ground.

After almost a minute of being in a daze, Lawrend gently pushed Reavire away. Her pupils were in the shape of a heart, and she appeared to want a second taste of him.

"Hold it!"

Lawrend held his hand out.

He could sense the tension in the air. It wasn't an all-out war but a battlefield, and he was in the crossfire.

"She is just like this, girls. She is very obedient when it's just the two of us," Lawrend explained.

'Wait, I forgot…!'

He was too late to realize it, but his words stoked the fire.

"T-That's even worse, Master! We're obedient anytime!"

"Y-Yeah!"

"I want to dissolve her…"

Lawrend's face paled. He took a few steps back as their emotions that had no way out were focused on him.

"H-Help me??"

Lawrend looked at Reavire but only saw her grinning. When she saw him look, she turned away as if to tell him that she had nothing to do with the trouble he had incited.

'Fuck! Why did I have to say that!?' Lawrend cursed himself.

"Bye!"

Lawrend chickened out. A heart-shaped portal appeared behind him, and he fell into it.

When he fell to the ground, he hit wet sand and realized he made a portal to a beach. The waves splashed and bubbled as they hit the sand bank.

"Phew…"

Lawrend wasn't expecting Reavire to be so confident and to show a lack of care about recovering her real memories.

"It makes sense though…"

She said that she was more happy with the false memories. Lawrend's emotions swirled into a complex mess, and he didn't know how to react.

On the other hand, he felt satisfied with conquering her. It was his form of revenge, and it was sweet.

"Who even won?" Lawrend asked.

The waves continued splashing, and no one answered him.

"Do you like her?"

"W-WHO!?"

Lawrend jumped straight, and his maid energy swirled around his body. The sand around him was torn to the air, and the surrounding trees were shattered into smithereens.

A gray shadow stood at a corner of the beach. It nonchalantly took the wave of maid energy that exploded out of Lawrend's body.

Lawrend had seen him many times, and it had always been in important events.

"Creator!?"

It was a great shock to see the Creator standing before him. If he believed Reavire, then he should be a Flawless God. He was two levels above Reavire.

The power he controlled surpassed Lawrend's limited imagination. He didn't know how it was possible to possess such great power with only two levels of difference.

"Creator? I'm not at that level yet. I suppose I appear as such to you."

The voices of many beings, old, young, women, and men, blended together to form the words of this being. His blurry shadow didn't even seem to be on purpose now that Lawrend stood close to him.

"Do you look blurry to me because your level is so high?" Lawrend couldn't help but ask.

"Precisely. My form cannot be seen by none gods. Your soul cannot comprehend my existence."

"I see…"

Lawrend felt the vastness of the Creator's strength for the first time. It was a small glimpse, but it still shook him to the core. He wondered if he could see his true form if he tried.

"Enough about me. Do you like her?" the Creator asked.

"Who? Which one?" Lawrend asked as all of his maids went through his mind's eye.

"Hahaha. Yes. You have a lot of maids." After laughing for a few seconds, calmness returned. " Do you like Reavire?"

Lawrend paused when he heard the question. He had been thinking about it a few times. Reavire was cute, and she obviously loved him.

However, how much of that was real? Lawrend didn't know.

When he heard her say that she chose to keep the lie instead of the truth, he felt happy. It was like his false memories were validated.

But those memories were still fake at the end of the day. Lawrend spent half a day with her, and he didn't think that was enough time for her to fall in love with him.

"I-I'm starting to like her, but I'm not sure about her."

"Worried that her feelings are fake?"

"Yes. How did you know?"

"At her level, if she chose to change her soul, it will become the truth no matter how that change is done. Shattered Gods have full control over their souls. She is likely feeling true love."

"..."

Despite the logical explanation, Lawrend couldn't accept that answer. Love was supposed to take a long time to nurture. No tree could survive a storm if it didn't grow slowly with ample nutrients and sunlight.

"If you choose to leave my universe, take her with you."

The wind picked up, and sand got into Lawrend's eyes, prompting him to blink. When his eyelids reopened, the Creator was long gone. He vanished like an illusion, reminding Lawrend of how he gained his false memories with Reavire.
