Destroying My Own World

Chapter 214: Nal/Laufey.

"Not to harm me? Are you even sure that any of you can do it? Even if I'm alone here?" Mykel asked as he looked at each one of them. "The fact that one of you died that easily, you still think that kind of threat would work on me?" Mykel asked again.

All the Princes of Hell were ready to kill him, and they were waiting for Lucifer's order. They knew what kind of power Mykel possessed, but that meant nothing to them. They started a rebellion against The Lord, and they were prepared to kill him during that time. Seeing Mykel possessed his power, only made them want to test their powers to kill him before they went to kill the real one.

Lucifer was thinking the same thing, but he wanted to play it carefully knowing Mykel wouldn't have a few tricks up his sleeve. He also wanted to know what Mykel knew about Sasha, and why he suddenly let go of Sasha.

"Now, now. Play nice, all of you," Nal said as she crossed her arms and legs and leaned her back. "I hate bloodbaths, and what I hate the most is a bloodbath in front of my eyes," Nal continued.

"If I have to choose right now. I would take his side," Nal pointed out as she looked at Mykel. "He has something that none of you have, and in the long run, I can see what he's capable of," Nal continued.

Lucifer glanced at Nal and then glanced at Mykel as he considered what Nal said. He then nodded his head with understanding and that made Loki confused seeing Lucifer considered Nal's decision.

"You promised that you won't take sides," Lucifer said as he looked at Nal.

"I take my words back. I haven't seen him in person before, and seeing his future makes me sit on the edge right now," Nal pointed out with a smile. "But, if you want me to not help him, I would. All you have to do is to give me what I want," Nal said.

"You were banished by The Lord himself from Earth for your mischievous acts. You have done a lot of things that only put everyone in a bad situation. So, whatever you're asking, I'm not going to give them," Lucifer said sternly and looked at Nal with a serious expression. "You're the last being that I want to see," Lucifer added.

"Finally, I got the answer that I wanted to hear," Nal giggled mischievously as she slowly stood up and for some reason, Lucifer felt like he had been played by her all along. "If you tell him what you know. You will gain a lot of things from that information, but that will cost you dearly, Mykel Alester," Nal pointed out as she looked at Mykel.

It was the first time for Mykel to take a stranger's words for consideration, and deep down he thought about it as well. He was curious about Nal, but he knew that she was also playing tricks on him. He realized why Lucifer was so wary of her and the fact The Lord himself banished her from Earth, it wasn't normal.

"I know what I'm doing," Mykel said as he looked at Nal. "If you have something to say, come visit me. You know where my home is," Mykel added.

"You knew, and yet you dare to take the risk?" Nal asked with her eyes squinted.

"Risk is when you have no control of the outcomes," Mykel paused as he stared at Lucifer. "But I have everything under control. Just like I said earlier, I know what I'm doing," Mykel continued and looked Nal in the eye.

Nal squinted her eyes and she found that the course of the future had changed drastically. She couldn't help but laugh and covered her mouth with her left hand as the whole of Redshield's residence and territory started to tremble and destroyed some of the buildings.

"Loki!" Nal yelled as soon as she stopped laughing, and that made Loki's heart skip a beat. "Keep this man by your side. If not, your mother will take him away from you," Nal giggled as she walked away.

"Oh. I don't know what Lucifer did to your home, but you said something about paying him back. I did it in your stead, no need to thank me," Nal said and then disappeared.

Mykel scoffed and smirked because he had found someone really interesting for a very long time. Loki was still in shock by Nal's words, and how she screamed her name that made her heart race.

"Shall we start?" Mykel asked Lucifer.

Mykel didn't tell the details to Lucifer about how he obtained his suspicion, but he used Lucifer's curiosity about how Sasha was allowed to be resurrected. Lucifer was in fact the one who proposed that to The Lord, and he also found it a bit suspicious for his request to be granted.

"You tried to read through all of her memories, and you're capable of doing so, but the fact there are a few memories you couldn't see makes you wonder," Mykel said as he looked at Lucifer. "That Caveat Scroll wasn't given to her for precautions. The scroll was given to her because he already knew what was going to happen," Mykel continued.

"You can't find her now means The Lord or whoever is protecting her right now doesn't want you to find her. Even if you can find her, you won't be able to get what you want," Mykel said as he put out the cigarette. "But that's if you can find her. You have all the time you need to find her looking at the current situation where Primordial Gods are taking over Earth and their own grudges against each other," Mykel added.

So she has become The Lord's favorite and he's using her to stop both of us," Lucifer said as he put out his cigarette. "I have my own suspicion, and I have been trying to find that ever since she came back to life," Lucifer continued.

"This Caveat Scroll, how exactly that would be enough to deal with the situation?" Mykel asked because he barely got any information about it.

"Caveat Scroll is The Lord's will itself in a shape of a scroll. Nobody knows exactly how powerful it can be, not even the Archangels because they're not allowed to see the content of the scroll," Lucifer answered. "It can be even as strong as me or it can be way stronger than any beings that The Lord has created," Lucifer continued.

It was as ambiguous as what Uriel had explained to him, and Mykel wasn't satisfied by the answer. He couldn't ask for more about it since that answer was as good as he could get. Knowing that he took that matter aside and focused on other things since it would be a waste of time to think about that.

"Are you sure you're going to let me have her?" Lucifer asked as he leaned his body forward and crossed her arms on the table.

"I'm not going to take back my words, and I have said that you can have her," Mykel answered and didn't hesitate. "If she belongs to him, I don't think you can have her. No matter how hard you tried, you won't be able to," Mykel added.

"Hmm? That's interesting. You're the one who wants to take him down believe that there's nothing you can do to go against his will?" Lucifer asked with a smirk.

Mykel didn't say anything, but his smile made Lucifer suspicious, and wondered what Mykel hid from him.

"So? What do you want from giving me this information? Are you perhaps wanting to know what kind of power that can kill him?" Lucifer asked with his eyebrows raised and tried to bait Mykel so he could get more from him.

"No. Now that I have met Nal, I want to know about her, so tell me more about her," Mykel answered. "That's all I want," Mykel smiled and knew what Lucifer was trying to do.

(Somewhere in the Realm of God)

Nal was walking around Europe and looking at all the other Gods from different mythologies that were banding together. She looked at them as they approached her, and then she stopped and let them come to her.

"Nal, you're not supposed to be here," A man who had a piece of cloth floating around his body. He looked like a divine being, something like an Angel. "You have to leave," he continued with a serious expression.

"I was planning to after Baduhenna summoned me, but now I think I'll stay," Nal answered, and her answer made all the Cosmical beings and Primordial beings concerned about Earth. "Now that you know I'm not going to leave, what are you all going to do about it?" Nal asked.

They all slowly looked up into space and noticed an eye staring at them, an eye that was enough to cover the whole sky of Earth.

"This planet is once under my control, and I will take back what's mine," Nal said as she walked past them so casually and nobody dared to do anything to her.
