Su Ming was somewhat taken aback by the Goddess of Life's invitation. She was willing to grant him the godly inheritance? Normally, when a deity passed down their godly position, they would eventually leave the Divine Realm to explore other worlds. Would the Goddess of Life really leave the God of Destruction behind?

Originally, Su Ming's plan was to emulate the Sea God by gathering faith to ascend to godhood or seek other paths to become a god. After all, with his system, the odds seemed in his favor. But relying on faith was limiting—should the faith of the lower realms wane, his strength as a god would be affected. Self-ascension was even more challenging, and he hadn't found a viable path.

Given his current power, the most suitable divine positions would be the God of Life or perhaps... the God of Destruction! After contemplating for a moment, Su Ming retracted his Susanoo and bowed slightly to the Goddess of Life. "I am willing."

He didn't know the full extent of her or the God of Destruction's intentions, but if she offered the position of God-King, he wouldn't refuse. Besides, achieving this would start him at a divine level of 110, a tremendous leap above the usual first step of 101. (I recall seeing this somewhere, and if not, consider this a creative twist.)

The rank of a God-King differed from other first or second-tier gods not only in status but also in power.

The Goddess of Life nodded approvingly, sending a blessing into Su Ming's body.

"This is my blessing," she said playfully. "With this, you'll gain enhanced regenerative abilities without needing to deplete your soul power. Think of it as a little welcoming gift."

Su Ming was thrilled to feel the changes within him. His regenerative abilities, combined with his life-based passive skills, brought him closer to the legendary Sage Body! However, a question lingered in his mind. As he recalled, the Goddess of Life was an ancient deity in the Divine Realm, so where would he go to receive her inheritance? He couldn't imagine waiting until he reached Titled Douluo or Super Douluo level before receiving further trials.

The Asura God had already broken the rules by intervening prematurely, so he needed to enhance his strength quickly.

"Goddess of Life, what should I do next?" he asked.

"Since my inheritance site isn't in this realm, I can only initiate your trial after you reach level 99," she explained. "But considering the current situation, we'll adapt. Once you reach level 70, head to Sea God Island—I'll set the trials there."

"Feel free to bring along your little girlfriends too. The Sea God's faith reserves there are vast, and your companions' talents will surely help them gain something valuable," she added with a mischievous wink before disappearing.

Su Ming: ...

The spectators, including Dugu Bo, couldn't hide their envy. Here was Su Ming, young and already chosen to inherit a god's position. Su Ming had joined the Spirit Hall now, and with time, Spirit Hall would undoubtedly unify the continent. And it seemed that Bibi Dong and Qian Daoliu could also tap into divine powers?

Among the onlookers were spies from other nations who now sensed that Spirit Hall's rise would be unstoppable.

Su Ming, though, had reservations. Would the Sea God intervene if he went to Sea God Island for his trials? In the original storyline, Bo Saixi, who conducted the Sea God trials, had a moment where she nearly killed Tang San but was mysteriously stopped. It was almost certainly the Sea God's intervention, or else Tang San wouldn't have survived that trial.

Suddenly, Su Ming heard a reassuring voice in his mind. "Don't worry about it, Su Ming. The Sea God and Asura God won't touch you directly while I and the God of Destruction watch from the Divine Realm. And even behind the scenes... I trust your strength as my inheritor."

Su Ming: ...

Well, he'd take it one step at a time. He had always planned to visit Sea God Island with his companions; it was a prime place to strengthen one's abilities.

Su Ming's eyes then shifted to Bibi Dong, who was still clutching his left arm tightly.

"Ahem... Your Holiness?" he said gently.

Snapping back to reality, Bibi Dong quickly let go and, without a word, left with a blank expression. Inside, she chided herself for getting carried away. How had she done that so naturally? Their relationship wasn't that close, after all. Surely it was just concern for his injury that led her to react so strongly...

"Not bad, kid! So young, and you've already received a divine trial. Even I'm a bit envious!" Dugu Bo approached to congratulate Su Ming.

Though he did envy Su Ming's luck, he wasn't jealous. Somewhere deep down, he had always known Su Ming's strength would one day earn him a godly inheritance.

Su Ming thanked him with a smile before activating his Kamui Space to release everyone from within.

Upon emerging, Xiao Wu and the others crowded around him, their faces filled with concern.

"Brother, are you alright? Is it over?"

"Su Ming, are you okay?"

Even Shui Bing'er and Xue Wu, who had grown closer to Su Ming, checked on his well-being.

Su Ming briefly recounted the events for them, reassuring them that the crisis had passed and that the tournament had concluded successfully.

Meanwhile, Qian Daoliu, after watching Su Ming closely for a moment, quietly left with the two elders, Jiangmo and Qianjun.

Inwardly, Qian Daoliu was reflecting. According to what Xue'er had said, Su Ming was her sworn brother, and their bond seemed strong. Judging by Su Ming's power, he was more than fit to be Spirit Hall's Holy Son for now.

He had also witnessed Su Ming rushing to Bibi Dong's aid without a thought for his safety, a scene he would not soon forget. No wonder so many admired him. And he did seem a fitting match for Xue'er...

The thought lingered as he made his way back, a quiet idea forming in Qian Daoliu's mind.
