Harry Potter: Demon Monarch

Chapter 75: Chapter 75 Polyjuice potion.

Chapter -75

Feeling the magic within him replenished, Lester revealed a 'kind' smile.

If he could collect enough life-spring water—1,000 bottles, to be exact—and distribute it to that group of Azkaban prisoners, he could lead them to sweep through the wizarding world. At that point, he would be singing songs of triumph like a crazy punk.

Of course, Lester only dared to think about it. Not to mention the formidable Dumbledore, just producing 1,000 bottles of life spring water would be quite challenging.

After just scooping up some, droplets of water began to condense on the large stone at the center of the life spring.

Slowly, the droplets grew larger and eventually slid into the spring through the crevices of the stone.

If nothing unexpected happened, this would be the source of the water within the life spring.

"What the heck, what's this!" Suddenly, Lester was astonished to discover that the ground beneath his feet had changed color. This magical transformation left even the worldly Lester shocked.

On the previously black rocky surface exclusive to Azkaban, an unexpectedly thick layer of soil had appeared.

Bending down, he picked up a few small clumps of dirt, brought them to his nose to sniff, and then joyfully realized this was black soil suitable for growing crops!

Not only could this life spring continuously produce precious water for replenishing magic, but it could also silently change the surrounding environment.

Lester had previously been troubled because the geological conditions of Azkaban were so harsh that even with expensive materials, building a mansion here would not create a livable atmosphere.

However, now with the life-spring water, everything seemed to be resolved. As long as he had this, the environment in the northern part of Azkaban would gradually improve.

It was estimated that within a few days, it would become a pleasant environment for living. At that time, he could build a wall to enclose the improved northern area.

Those prisoners willing to submit to him could be invited to the northern area for training and education, while the scum and villains who came later would be thrown into the Azkaban prison to suffer.

...

As Lester contemplated how to construct the Azkaban school, the Ministry of Magic was also undergoing reconstruction.

The entire Ministry of Magic, from the inside out, except for the top-level foyer, had been completely burnt down by Lester's fierce flames.

Unfortunately, they couldn't seek compensation from a certain prisoner. Not to mention whether these high-ranking officials had the nerve to approach him, even if they did, that prisoner had no money to compensate!

Thus, they had no choice but to dig into their own pockets to rebuild the Ministry of Magic. After all, this was their stronghold, and it was essential for them as purebloods to fund its reconstruction.

Although wizards possessed magical powers, the raw materials needed for construction could not simply be conjured through magic.

Some might say one could use transfiguration to produce the necessary building materials, but those materials would serve as flooring—the Ministry of Magic had nine floors. If the magic on transfigured items ran out, the bricks would revert to their original state, and wouldn't the entire Ministry collapse again?

Helplessly, to obtain the vast materials needed for reconstruction, Minister Smith had to reach out to the Prime Minister of Muggles in Britain to discuss the procurement of materials.

To the upper echelons of Muggles, the existence of wizards was not a secret. In fact, thousands of years ago, wizards and Muggles lived together.

Just like the story of King Arthur and Merlin, in ancient times, wizards in Britain served Muggle monarchs.

With their magical powers, wizards were often favored by Muggle rulers and received generous rewards.

In ancient times, the most significant reward was undoubtedly land, so those wizards who acquired land transformed into the renowned nobility of the time.

For instance, the Malfoy family could trace its ancestry back to a royal wizard who accompanied the Duke of Normandy when he landed in England.

Due to their contributions in helping the Duke of Normandy seize the throne of England, the ancestors of the Malfoy family were granted vast lands. After thousands of years, the Malfoy family's territory continually expanded, ultimately forming the powerful Malfoy family.

Otherwise, given the magical level at the time, wizards could hardly be self-sufficient and had to rely on Muggle royalty for survival. Therefore, the existence of wizards was not a secret to the upper echelons of Muggles.

They began cooperating thousands of years ago.

At this moment, in the Prime Minister's office of England, Minister Smith was having an intense confrontation with the Muggle Prime Minister of england.

"What kind of nonsense are you weirdos up to?" The Prime Minister said, his face turning pale with anger as he pointed at Minister Smith, "London has several million people, and while I don't want to interfere with your wizarding matters, it doesn't mean you can treat the lives of the public like a joke."

"I told you, it's the Azkaban prisoners causing the trouble," Minister Smith said impatiently. "The prisoners have already been subdued by us, and the wizarding world is safe now."

Listening to Minister Smith's indifferent tone, the Prime Minister was infuriated. These wizards seemed to have never considered ordinary people, treating their lives as if they didn't matter.

"So why are you here to see me?" The Prime Minister calmed his anger and asked, "Are you here to ask me to admit a mistake?"

"Of course not!" Minister Smith feigned shaking his head and said, "Dear Prime Minister, I'm here to ask for some help."

"Our Ministry of Magic has taken some damage in this farce, so I need to buy some materials for construction from you."

Minister Smith elaborated on his intentions for coming here.

In fact, the wizarding world was not without building materials, but the entire physical economy of the magical world was controlled by those old pure-blood families.

Although both parties appeared to be amicable on the surface, the newly emerging pure-blood families had always held a grudge against the old pure-bloods.

This animosity even extended to their children; even in Slytherin, their children would divide into two factions who looked down on each other.

Therefore, Minister Smith would absolutely not purchase building materials from those damned old pure-bloods. He would rather give this large order to Muggles than let the old pure-bloods benefit!

Not paying attention to the Muggle title mentioned by Minister Smith, the Prime Minister's mind raced.

"So, what are you prepared to use for payment?" The Prime Minister's gaze flickered as his fingers rhythmically tapped the table, seemingly trying to apply pressure.

If he were to give the building materials away for free, he certainly couldn't do that, but if it were a transaction, then they could cooperate well.

Minister Smith didn't waste time, directly stating, "We can offer 20 bottles of Polyjuice Potion!"
