"Big brother is always like this, blaming himself for things that aren't his fault," Natsu said softly, lowering her gaze.

"Anyway, after that, I learned how to hide," Shoyo said with a proud grin. "After that one incident, I pretended to gradually become more sensible, fooling those old geezers all the way until now!"

"So, on the surface, you two seem to be part of the Main House faction, but secretly you're aligned with the Branch House," Neji said, understanding dawning on him.

"Exactly." Shoyo laughed. "I've been hiding it well!"

"What's there to be proud of? Without me, you would've been exposed ages ago, you idiot!" Natsu smacked Shoyo on the head.

"Hehe," Shoyo chuckled shamelessly. "I'm pretty dumb, after all. Natsu's the smarter one."

Neji asked, "You said the Branch House members want to contact me? Did something happen in the clan?"

"Yes."

Natsu straightened up and spoke seriously, "We've received recent intel suggesting that Lord Hokage has found a way to break the Caged Bird Curse Mark. Someone secretly passed this information to members of the Branch House, but they can't confirm if it's true."

"It's true." Neji glanced at Sasuke. "Sasuke's uncle researched it and handed the results to the Fifth Hokage."

"It's been developed?"

The siblings spoke in unison, excitement evident in their voices.

"And you..."

Seeing the anticipation and bright, hopeful eyes of the two, Neji decided to act decisively. He removed the bandage wrapped around his forehead, revealing his smooth skin.

"Yes, my Caged Bird Curse Mark has been removed."

"Really?"

Natsu suddenly stood up, staring intently at Neji's forehead. She even reached out to touch it, exclaiming repeatedly, "That's amazing! Truly amazing!"

"I want to feel it too!" Shoyo raised his hand eagerly.

Helpless, Neji crouched down, allowing Shoyo to touch his forehead.

"This is awesome!" Shoyo beamed. "Neji, you're incredible!"

"Alright, it's time for you to eat something," Sasuke interrupted. He took out several bento boxes, heated them with his red fire chakra, and handed them over.

"Thank you, Sasuke-kun," Natsu quickly accepted the bentos, handing one to Neji before helping Shoyo settle against the stone wall.

"This smells so good!" Natsu said, inhaling the aroma of her food.

"It tastes great!" Shoyo's cheeks puffed up as he ate enthusiastically.

"Where did the bentos come from?" Neji suddenly asked after a few bites.

They had been together recently, so there was no time to buy bentos.

"Hmm?" Sasuke swallowed his food and replied casually, "I brought them from home."

Neji froze, his face stiffening. "How long ago?"

Sasuke thought for a moment before answering, "You already know. Back when Uncle Minato brought me to Konoha."

At this, both Hyuga siblings also froze mid-bite.

"Ugh!"

Neji felt his stomach churn. Clutching his throat, he growled through gritted teeth, "That was over twenty days ago!"

"Ugh!"

The Hyuga siblings turned pale, dry-heaving.

"What's wrong with you?" Sasuke looked up, confused by the trio's reaction.

"What do you think?!" Neji snarled. "How can you eat bentos that are over twenty days old?!"

"They're not spoiled," Sasuke said nonchalantly, taking another bite.

"It doesn't seem spoiled," Shoyo said, smacking his lips before continuing to eat.

"Brother!" Natsu exclaimed in horror. "You can't eat food that's been left out that long!"

She punched Shoyo in the stomach. "Spit it out now!"

"Mmmph..." Shoyo clamped his mouth shut, clutching his stomach as he forced himself to swallow the food.

"It's fine, Natsu," he said, giving her a thumbs-up. "It still tastes great, even after all this time!"

"Idiot brother! Spit it out!" Natsu punched him again.

"Ugh..."

Shoyo turned away, his mouth opening as an unidentifiable substance poured out.

"Damn it! What the hell!"

Sasuke grabbed his bento and bolted out of the cave. Neji tossed his bento aside and followed.

"You're not eating?" Sasuke asked, looking back at Neji with mild annoyance. "I said it's not spoiled."

"There's no way it's not spoiled!" Neji growled, veins throbbing on his forehead. "Even if it was refrigerated, it wouldn't last this long!"

"Well..."

Sasuke scooped up another bite and explained, "I kept it in my ninja tool pouch. It doesn't go bad."

"Ninja tool pouch? That small thing on your waist?" Neji pointed skeptically.

"Yep." Sasuke patted the pouch proudly. "It's a spatial ninja tool modified by my uncle!"

"I know!" Neji said enviously. "I saw you use it—it can hold a lot of things! But does it have a preservation function?"

"No." Sasuke immediately answered.

"Then the food still goes bad!" Neji snapped, his forehead veins throbbing harder.

"One compartment is a sealed space. Anything stored there stays in its original state. All the food I prepared is kept there," Sasuke said matter-of-factly. "Didn't I mention that?"

"Of course, you didn't!"

Neji's veins pulsed even more furiously, but the grumbling of his stomach betrayed him.

"You're still hungry."

Sasuke, perceptive as ever, heated another bento and handed it to him. "Here, have another one."

"Hmph!"

Blushing slightly, Neji grabbed the bento and sat on a nearby rock, eating voraciously.

After he finished, Sasuke handed him two more bentos. "Take these to the others."

Reluctantly, Neji returned to the cave to find Natsu burying the remnants of Shoyo's earlier mess.

---

After eating, the group sat down to talk again.

"Shoyo, Natsu, what are your plans now?" Neji asked seriously.

"We originally planned to return and relay the message after finding you," Natsu replied with a serious expression. "But my brother needs time to recover."

"Not just me—Natsu's bones are fractured, so she needs rest too," Shoyo added, equally serious.

"Given the situation in the Hyuga Clan, you shouldn't delay," Sasuke suggested. "It's best to heal quickly."

"But there are no medical-nin here," Natsu said dejectedly. "I only know some basics."

"Should we ask your uncle for help again?" Neji hesitated. "But it might be too much trouble for him."

"That's right. We'll recover soon enough. We shouldn't bother Lord Kaito unnecessarily!"

The siblings nodded in agreement, their admiration for the man who developed the Curse Mark's removal evident.

"Then," Sasuke suggested, "Neji and I will escort you to the border outpost."

"Isn't that too dangerous?" Natsu asked hesitantly. "If we're discovered, it could cause trouble."

"It'll be fine," Neji reassured her. "With three pairs of Byakugan, we won't be detected."

"But..." Natsu still seemed worried.

"That settles it!" Shoyo cut her off. "The camp near us only has us two Hyuga. Without Byakugan on the opposing side, no one will spot us!"
