Chapter 4: Ch.4 Things Move quite Fast
It had been a few months since he had become a slave here, and although very uncomfortable he had gotten used to it.
"Work hard slaves, if you do you may have a chance for immortality like us."
One of the outer disciples shouted in a prideful voice from high above a rock; the inner disciple saw this but ignored him.
Yucheng He was looking at this scene while waiting for his food to be served. Some people in the caves became more motivated to work after hearing that speech.
But Yucheng sneered in his heart. After all, this most likely path to immortality was probably to be blood pills for the inner disciples and their master.
Although he didn't have a proper understanding of this world, from what he had heard in these months and piecing it together with his memories from his last life he could make some guesses.
Plus even if his guess is wrong it can't be anything good, after all, why would evil cultivators want their slaves to succeed?
With that thought in his mind and taking the slop that was presented as food, he quickly moved toward the lower caves.
After all not to brag he is quite handsome and if he doesn't run away some may be jealous of that and try to finish him.
Well, that's the reason he has been covering his face with dust and mud, and it's not that he hasn't seen such a situation happen before.
"Food shit like always."
Yucheng muttered, he even hoped to eat the food made by his drunk friend than this slop. Although that would have been poisonous at least it had some flavor.
Closing his eyes he gulped down the food in seconds before throwing away the leaf plate.
"Well, another day for work."
He muttered as he picked up a pickaxe and started to mine. His pile of spirit stones had already made a small mountain but it wouldn't be bad to have some more.
"I wonder, should I bribe some outer disciple to get some cultivation techniques."
Wondering what he thought of all the candidates in his mind, finally he found one who was very greedy but also very stupid.
"I guess I can fool him."
With that though a smile appeared on his face.
...
In the villages near the weeping mountain, an army of a hundred thousand strong was looking at the empty village with anger in their eyes.
Martial God Jiayi Bi stood at the forefront as his murderous intent flooded like a tide, in this empty village he could smell the strong scent of blood.
This meant that all the villagers had died in this tragic accident and their empire was unable to do anything for them.
This situation for Jiayi who swore an oath to always do just and look out for the common people was like a knife stabbed into their heart.
Calming himself down he looked at the information paper in his hand, with this it could be made sure that the culprit was in the weeping mountain.
"Martial God, what should we do."
A general in the realm of Martial Grandmaster asked as he looked at the information in his hands. Other high-ranking officers and generals were also listening in silence.
A deadly silence remained as Jiayi looked at the tall weeping mountain in silence. He then closed his eyes and took a deep breath.
"MOVE FORWARD MY SHOULDERS AND BRING DEATH TO THOSE WHO HARMED OUR EMPIRE!!!!"
His shout was like a lion's roar as it made the blood of the entire army boil.
"YES, MARTIAL GOD!!!!!"
The army shouted and like a waking beast they marched toward the Weeping Mountain. There was no sense of hesitation in their mind.
After all the one leading them was the great martial god, the peak of martial arts and the one who has protected the empire for centuries.
On top of the weeping mountain inside the black pagoda, a man wearing a black Taoist dress with golden dragons inscribed in it opened his eyes.
As if sensing something he had a mocking sneer on his face as he opened his mouth to call somebody.
"Bingwen Cai"
With his call, a young man entered the pagoda and knelt on his ground with a salute.
"Master you called."
The man spoke as he looked at his master in front of him. This young man was the same person who killed Yucheng's parents.
"Some ants have come to disturb my practice."
The man spoke as he looked at his most promising disciple and blood food in front of him.
"Go show these ants what despair looks like."
Hearing his master's words he nodded his head and replied.
"At your command master."
After giving another salute he left the room, although his face was respectful his heart couldn't wish to kill the nine generations of his master.
After all, as an evil cultivator, there is no way he didn't understand his master plan.
"My hundred years of cultivation to reach Foundation Building- Sprit condensation won't be wasted on you old demon."
He snorted in his heart as he moved forward to call other inner and outer disciples. After all, no matter how strong he was he may be consumed to death.
"Well, they should make good food for me to reach the Spirit Hardening stage."
He muttered with a smile as he started to gather all the manpower available.
With such a big noise there was no way the slaves didn't hear about it. Although they didn't know who was coming they were sure that it must be someone from the empire.
In fact, some even hoped that it was the martial god, after all as normal citizens of the empire they had heard of his great deeds.
"Yay, we are saved."
"We can go home."
The newer slaves started to shout and the excitement began to spread, though a beating from an outer disciple shut them up.
Though their hearts were still excited.
