JUST THAT BREAK

JUSTIN

I tightened my eyes furiously while facing opposite the mirror. I curved my fingers in a fist and tightened it.

I opened my eyes and screamed a little. I looked at my reflection in the mirror. What on earth was I doing? It was time I stopped pushing myself back and do what is needed. I opened the drawer beneath the mirror. I saw my pack of cigarettes, I picked one stick and placed it my mouth. I took the lighter and was about placing it at the tip of the cigarette but I stopped. I remembered Emi words and I threw it back into the drawer. I furrowed my brows and walked out of my room.

I walked towards the elevator and opened it. I entered and pressed the button that led me straight to Emi's floor. It went down for a while until it opened. I felt relieved and anxious as well.

I walked out of it and walked to her door. I tightened my eyes and was having doubts whether to ring the doorbell or not. My hands pressed the button and I was just going to go for it.

"Come in." Her voice made my heart beat faster.

I opened the door quietly and slowly. My heart was racing so fast and it was the first for me.

I entered inside and saw her sitting on the bed wearing a white robe. Why was she wearing a white robe in the afternoon? I sighed and walked closer as she was looking at me awkwardly.

"Why are you here?" She said silently.

Our eyes didn't leave each other contact at all. I wanted to remove her robe and finally get into her.

"I have really missed you Emi." I had a straight face and a more deep voice.

"Why?" She looked at me reluctantly. "Do you think I will still be stupid enough to be chasing after you?"

"Emi." I said calmly, "I think I have fallen madly in love with you."

Tears were already packed in her eyes. She rolled her eyes, probably trying to roll off the tears.

I walked up to her and stayed opposite her. She looked up to see me and she really did a good job hiding those tears.

"Do you know how I really felt when I saw you with that guy?" I looked at her in the eyes with emotion.

"He's my cousin." She said flatly.

I felt a breeze of relief flow through my body. I smiled a little but didn't want to make it too obvious.

"I'm going to kiss you again but this time, you better not push me away." She looked at me with all seriousness. She stood and we were standing opposite each other.

She raised her leg to reach my level and she gave a quick kiss on my lips. My brain became dumber as I looked down to see her.

I closed my eyes and agressively grabbed her by the waist. I turned my lips to the right and squeezed her lips to mine. She just held me by my waist tightly and she probably enjoyed as I sucked her lips.

I used my left hand to hold the back of her head while holding her waist with my right. I slowly placed her to the bed and was still kissing her lips.

After a while of kissing, our eyes met each other. I slowly released my mouth from her's and we looked at each other. She smiled so brightly and she used her hand to cover her mouth. I chuckled as I found her cute.

"Let's go on a date tomorrow." She said with her hands still on her mouth.

"Sure, let's do that." I smiled at her.

SUSAN

I heard the door bell ring snapping me from my thought. I stood and walked towards the door and opened it. It was Henry. He was holding a white paper and he looked tensed.

"Are you okay?" I pulled my brows together.

"I have a question to ask." He looked tensed and I could see his sweaty fingers.

I raised a brow to him, indicating him to tell me what the problem was.

"Is there really something you are not telling me?" He asked looking very curious.

I raised my brows again. What was he saying? Making matters worse for me by speaking in parables.

He tossed the paper to me and I collected it. I scrolled through it and it was talking about my work place. I furrowed about my brows at him. I knew I was answerable to him but didn't want to speak. He was also not telling me lots of thing so what was the need for me to answer.

"Why should I answer?" I threw the paper to the ground in annoyance.

"Susy?" He glared at me furiously.
