"Ah… I'm going to die. My lungs are going to explode."

"Shut up… don't stop… keep running unless you want to die here!"

In the wasteland, Star-Lord and Yelena Belova ran as if their lives depended on it—because they did. Behind them loomed Alioth, a monstrous beast, relentlessly pursuing its prey.

Their pickup truck had run out of gas long ago, leaving them to rely on their legs and sheer willpower. While the two were physically fit, exhaustion weighed heavily on them.

"I'm done. Let's just give up and die," Star-Lord huffed dramatically, collapsing onto the ground. His chest rose and fell like he'd been running a marathon.

Yelena, still stumbling forward, shot him a glare. "Keep moving, idiot! We're not dead yet."

But as her legs faltered, she too tumbled to the ground, muttering, "Fuck…" under her breath.

As Alioth loomed closer, its shadow swallowing the exhausted duo, both of them closed their eyes, resigned to their fate.

"ROAR!"

The beast's guttural sound made the air tremble. But just as Alioth reached them, it stopped abruptly. Instead of attacking, it turned and charged in another direction.

"What the—?" Star-Lord cracked one eye open, cautiously peeking. "Is it blind? Did it not see us?"

Yelena, sprawled out nearby, groaned, "You idiot. Look over there." She weakly gestured toward the distance, where flashes of lightning lit up the horizon. "Something bigger caught its attention. A big cake versus two stale biscuits—even idiots know what to choose."

Before either could process their unlikely survival, a voice interrupted.

"Well, would you look at that? You two really are the chosen ones—blessed by the goddess of dumb luck."

Star-Lord and Yelena looked up to see two familiar figures standing over them.

"Cap! Hawkeye!" the pair shouted in unison, relief washing over their faces.

The figures were indeed Captain America and Hawkeye, both appearing unharmed despite the chaos.

Meanwhile, across the battlefield, Raven and her team were retreating from the devastating fight between Sebastian and Ravion. But before they could get far, the ground shook violently, and from the earth emerged a massive mechanical ape.

"Great," Mystique muttered. "As if things weren't bad enough."

Before they could regroup, their path was blocked by ten heavily armed steel mechs. The machines' artillery fire was relentless, forcing the team to fight back.

Invisible Woman, Susan Storm, cloaked herself to slip through the chaos, providing shields for her team when needed. Though agile, she lacked offensive capabilities, leaving her as more of a defender.

Daredevil darted through the chaos with remarkable agility. His custom "baton" extended into a cutting wire capable of slicing through the mech joints with precision.

Gambit, ever the explosive card dealer, unleashed a storm of kinetic-charged cards. Each card, when placed correctly into a mech's weak points, detonated with destructive force.

As for Mystique, while not a combat powerhouse, her dual pistols and uncanny reflexes allowed her to target weak spots with unerring accuracy.

The four-person team held their own against the mechs, showcasing their synergy. However, Daredevil's voice cut through the chaos.

"Look out above!"

The group collectively glanced upward to see a massive mechanical sphere descending toward them.

"Group up!" Susan yelled, dropping her invisibility and raising a glowing blue force field around her teammates.

The impact was devastating. The sphere struck the shield, sending shockwaves through the air. Susan gritted her teeth, pouring every ounce of energy into maintaining the barrier.

When the dust settled, the mech parts around them were reduced to scrap, but Susan fell to her knees, coughing up blood.

"Are you okay?" Mystique knelt beside her, concerned.

"I'm fine… just—don't expect much from me for a while," Susan gasped.

The team quickly gathered their resources and prepared to move. Mystique spared one last glance at the mechanical ape's decapitated head in the distance. There were undoubtedly valuable supplies there, but she knew better than to let greed take over. Survival came first.

Within the mechanical ape's head, hidden chambers were exposed by the chaos. Among them was a room labeled Nursery.

Inside, a heavily pregnant woman with disfigured features was handcuffed to a bed. Despite her blonde hair and blue eyes, her face bore scars and blemishes that were far from ordinary.

"Wow, was there an earthquake? Why am I still alive?" the woman muttered. Her voice carried a sarcastic, almost comical tone.

This was Female Deadpool. Or, as she liked to call herself, "Mommy Dearest."

Suddenly, the door creaked open. An injured ape-like humanoid staggered in, clutching its side.

"Hey there, baby. Here to rescue Mommy?" Female Deadpool asked, her voice dripping with mock sweetness.

"Mom," the creature wheezed. It was half her height and clearly in pain. "The leader is distracted by an enemy. Most of the apes are down. This is our best chance to escape."

The ape produced a key, unlocking her restraints.

"Oh, sweetie," she cooed, pulling herself free. Then, with one swift motion, she stabbed the creature in the head with a jagged metal rod.

"I love you, but not that much," she muttered, watching as life drained from its confused eyes.

"Don't look at me like that," she scolded the corpse. "I didn't ask for this! Seven kids, all ape hybrids—do you know what it's like raising a litter of horny monkeys? This nursery? More like a horror show."

Her tirade ended abruptly as she doubled over in pain. "Oh, crap… here we go again."

What followed was both grotesque and horrifyingly absurd. Female Deadpool performed an impromptu C-section on herself, pulling out a bloody fetus.

"Gah! Forgot the needle and thread. My guts are spilling out!" she groaned, wrapping her midsection with a torn bedsheet before stumbling out of the room.

But behind her, the discarded fetus began to twitch. The blood pooling around it flowed unnaturally, seeping into the body of the ape she'd killed moments earlier.

With a sickening jolt, the ape came back to life, its wounds healing rapidly. Its head twisted unnaturally to face the audience—or perhaps the reader.

It smiled eerily and raised a finger to its lips.

"Shh… don't let Mommy find out. I don't want her killing me again."

It turned and shuffled off into the shadows.

"Alright," it muttered. "Time to leave. Catch you next time."
