MARVEL: TOAA

Chapter 32: Chapter 32: Sun Fist

"Boom boom boom."

The ground quaked violently as Sebastian and the green giant ape continued their brutal exchange of punches. Each strike echoed like thunder, carving craters into the earth beneath their feet.

"They're monsters, absolute monsters," muttered Iron Mandrill, his usually smug expression replaced with disbelief. Even Thor Ape, despite his own immense power, looked visibly shaken.

The green giant ape had proven to be far beyond anything they had anticipated. Its raw strength and unrelenting fury eclipsed even Sebastian's seemingly limitless capabilities. The battlefield itself was testament to the devastation caused by their clash.

"You're quite the challenge," Sebastian grinned, brushing off the dirt from his energy-coated body. Despite being struck multiple times, he looked surprisingly unharmed, thanks to his adaptive energy shield.

The green giant ape growled in response, its massive fists pounding the ground in frustration. Each blow it landed on Sebastian seemed to only fuel the mutant's excitement.

"Interesting," Sebastian muttered. "Your rage converts directly into power—it's almost primal. Let's see how far you can push it."

Switching tactics, Sebastian started to fight smarter, weaving around the ape's massive strikes and aiming for weak points. Despite his energy supply being seemingly infinite, he knew his mental focus had limits. Overexertion would leave him vulnerable.

Watching from a safe distance, Ravion and John observed the chaotic battle intently.

"Ravion," John said, his voice calm but firm. "The eyes. That's their weakness."

"Understood," Ravion replied.

Despite their immense size and strength, neither Sebastian nor the green giant ape could protect their eyes indefinitely. No matter how durable their bodies were, their vision and sensitivity to light remained exploitable weaknesses.

"Sun Fist!"

Before either combatant could react, Ravion suddenly teleported between them. His entire body flared with an intense, blinding light.

Sebastian and the green giant ape recoiled instinctively, shielding their faces from the searing brightness. Alarm bells rang in their minds, warning them of immediate danger.

Sebastian conjured a protective energy shield, fortifying it around his helmet to block potential psychic interference. The green giant ape roared, its massive hands covering its face as its vision was overwhelmed.

Taking advantage of the distraction, Ravion launched a flurry of precision attacks. Using a burst of momentum, he struck the green giant ape, tearing a piece of skin tissue from its exposed arm. Simultaneously, he darted toward Sebastian, his movements so fast that even the mutant struggled to react in time.

With a swift jab, Ravion scraped a small piece of tissue from Sebastian's forearm, retreating before either could retaliate.

"Damn pest!" the green giant ape bellowed, swinging its massive arm at Ravion in retaliation. The ground cracked and split under the sheer force of its strike, sending debris flying in every direction.

But Ravion had already teleported out of reach, leaving the enraged ape to strike only empty air.

"Focus on the Iron Mandrill next," John instructed. "He's the real threat here. His research capabilities are too dangerous to leave unchecked."

Realizing the impending danger, the Iron Mandrill panicked.

"No! Activate maximum power!" he shouted, frantically unleashing every remaining weapon in his arsenal. Missiles, lasers, and heavy artillery rained down indiscriminately, filling the battlefield with smoke and fire.

Ravion raised a hand, his telekinetic abilities effortlessly redirecting the onslaught of projectiles toward the green giant ape. The explosive barrage struck the creature head-on, forcing it to stagger back.

The Iron Mandrill's attempts to escape were futile. With a casual wave of Ravion's hand, the mechanical suit he wore began to crumple under an invisible force. Metal groaned and twisted as the suit compressed into a tight ball, crushing its occupant inside. A faint trickle of blood seeped from the seams.

With the Iron Mandrill neutralized, Ravion and John made their move.

"Time to leave," John said calmly.

"Agreed," Ravion replied. In an instant, the two vanished with a sharp crack of displaced air, leaving behind the chaos they had orchestrated.

The green giant ape, furious and humiliated, pounded its chest with deafening force. Its roar reverberated across the battlefield, a declaration of its rage. Yet, even it knew the battle was lost.

Just then, a shadow loomed over the area. Alioth, the devourer of matter, descended from the skies. Its monstrous form exuded a presence that dwarfed even the green giant ape.

"It's him," whispered the White Queen. "I've seen this creature before—in Raven's memories. It's Alioth, the Void Devourer. It consumes everything in its path."

Sebastian clenched his fists, his usual arrogance replaced by a rare moment of caution. "We're leaving," he commanded.

Azazel, understanding the gravity of the situation, teleported Sebastian and the White Queen to safety without hesitation.

Left alone, the green giant ape let out a final, guttural roar of frustration. Despite its injuries, it managed to grab the unconscious Thor Ape and retreat into the tunnels created earlier by the mechanical ape.

Alioth, undeterred, turned its attention to the remnants of the battlefield. Its gaze locked onto Mjolnir, the shattered remains of the hammer still radiating divine energy. Without hesitation, Alioth consumed it, absorbing the hammer's immense power.

Next, its sights fell upon the mechanical giant ape's severed head. The energy emanating from it was irresistible.

As the battlefield fell silent, only Alioth remained, its hunger unquenched and its power growing.
