The portal opened with a resounding pop, like a vacuum equalizing. Aizawa and Thirteen whirled around, staring into the swirling black abyss, which expanded and unfurled, turning into a gateway.

"W-what's going on?" Uraraka asked nervously as a wave of unease spread through the class. Before anyone could respond, the gateway rippled as a horde of people poured out of the abyss. However, it was clear from their malicious smiles and ragged appearance that they weren't just people.

"So this is UA! I've always wanted to get in here!"

"Look alive, boys, we got company!"

"Who cares about them? I came here for All Might! I want my pound of flesh!"

"Maybe he needs a bit of an incentive to show up! I bet killing these kids would do the trick!"

Aizawa frowned, but his visage remained calm, 'They knew All Might would be here...the break in a few days ago...could they have somehow gotten a hold of the curriculum?'

Before Aizawa could answer his own question, the portal rippled once last time before closing as two people stepped through. The tallest of the duo didn't have any visible features. Instead, they were covered in a dark purple mist, save for their eyes, which were a glowing yellow. The villain wore an elegant suit with a tie and a metal brace that went from around their collarbone to just below their eyes.

The second Villain was less obscure, but his appearance was just as strange, with pale skin stretched over a skinny, gaunt frame and blueish-white hair. The villain's costume, however, gave Aizawa pause. It consisted of a black trench coat, cargo pants, and red sneakers with fourteen pairs of disembodied hands latched onto various parts of his body, one covering his face.

A lifetime of fighting Villains had given Aizawa a sixth sense when it came to judging their strength and potential danger, and out of all of the villains present, the gaunt man was the most worrisome.

"Thirteen, take the students and evacuate," Aizawa replied as he reached up and lowered his goggled onto his face as his capture weapon started to float up in the air around his head, "I'll hold them off as long as I can, but you need to alert the school and send backup."

Thirteen nodded, and she slowly started to back. Aizawa stepped forward, putting himself between the villains and the students.

"You're not All Might," The gaunt villain stated, stepping forward through the crowd of villains who gave the man a wide birth, "He was supposed to be here...WHERE IS HE!"

Aizawa frowned at the tangible rage and hatred in the man's voice as he demanded All Might's whereabouts.

"Calm yourself, Shigaraki, remember what the Master said about controlling you emotions," Stepping up beside him, the portal user spoke sagely as if he was a trusted adviser. Surprisingly, his words seemed to work. Shigaraki took a ragged but calming breath, reached up, and started itching his neck.

"Right as always, Kurogiri," Shigaraki muttered before lowering his hand, "He will reveal himself...eventually. Let's prepare for his arrival; perhaps the mangled bodies of his precious students will serve as a reminder of the importance of punctuality."

"An excellent idea," Kurogiri replied as he shot across the ground, moving like a rolling tide of fog as he shot towards the fleeing group of students.

Aizawa moved to intervene, but in a coordinated attack, the group of villains surged forward and pinned him down.

"Everybody follow me!" Thirteen shouted as she led class 1-A away from the impending conflict, 'This was planned. They even blocked off communications. I can't get through to the rest of the school. We're completely isolated.'

Thirteen's panicked thoughts were suddenly interrupted as Kurogiri dashed in front of her, expanding his gaseous body and blocking the way forward. "I'm afraid, as of now, you are hostages of the League of Villains. All resistance is futile."

His body surged forward, rushing to envelope the Thirteen and the rest of the class in the dark abyss. Thirteen reacted quickly, holding out her hand as the tips of her gloves popped open, unleashing an irresistible gravitational pull disintegrating the parts of Kurogiri's body that came too close.

But the villain simply adapted, moving to flow around Thirteen and aim for the children behind her.

"NO!" Thirteen shouted, but she was powerless to stop Kurogiri and could only watch as Class 1-A disappeared into Kurogiri's body. Some tried to fight back, but Bakugo and Kirishima unleashed their respective attacks, which were ineffective and didn't stop them from being consumed as well.

But as I watched the impending tide of darkness close around me, I didn't see an endless abyss. Behind the darkness and the nothingness was a tangibility that I could reach out and touch.

'Impossible Technique: Stygian Divide'

Kurogiri's glowing yellow eyes widened, and he retracted his body. His gaze fell on me, the only student who had managed to deny his quirk and injure him in a way that should have been impossible.

I lowered my hand, and the flux wire that had severed Kurogiri's intangible flesh retracted back into my body, "What did you do to my classmates?"

Thirteen whirled around at the sound of my voice, "How!?"

"Indeed, how did you manage to cut me?" Kurogiri asked, his voice calm, but I could feel the simmering rage hidden beneath.

"I'll do more than cut you if you don't tell me what the hell you did with my classmates!" I threatened, my body exploding as flux covered my fists and feet.

Kurogiri's yellow eyes narrowed, "They've been scattered around this facility, though I doubt they'll last long against my comrades."

My heart pounded at Kurogiri's threat, not with fear but with an overwhelming sense of anger and urgency, "Ms. Thirteen!"

"Go, find your classmates. I can handle myself!" Thirteen replied before I could finish my question. The moment Thirteen answered, I was moving, shooting past Kurogiri, who tried to grab me, but another lash from my wire sliced through his flesh, allowing me to move beyond the villain's reach.

Flowing across the ground, I fixed my gaze on the mountain zone first. Soon, the brick on the ground transformed into uneven stone, but I navigated the terrain with ease. Artificial mountains rose to either side of me, creating deep crevices and narrow canyons, forcing me to sometimes glide up the cliff walls to avoid slowing down.

Eventually, the end of the crevice came into view, and I picked up the speed only for the ground to start vibrating as a solid rock wall rose from the earth, blocking my way forward.

"Looks like I found a straggler!" A booming voice echoed down the canyon. I came to a stop, and the ground in front of me erupted. A villain emerged from the earth like a mole coming out of its burrow.

A fitting description, considering the villain that emerged had large claws instead of hands, a star-shaped nose, and almost nonexistent eyes. Unfortunately, he wasn't the same size as a mole; instead, he was covered with thick slabs of muscle and towered seven feet tall.

"You're in my way," I said plainly, redistributing the flux around my feet to fully encase my shoulders and arms. Though I doubt you'll move if I ask you nicely."

The Moleman grinned, "You got balls, kid, but I wonder how long you can keep up a brave front after I bury you alive!"

The villain then buried his claws into the ground before violently ripping them out, sending an avalanche of boulders soaring at me. Squaring my stance, my muscles contracted as my fists lashed out. While it wasn't the same force I could generate while moving, each punch reduced a boulder into gravel.

But as I shattered the last of the debris, the Moleman exploded through the dense cloud of dust thrown up by his attack. With a roar, the Villain raised his razor-sharp claws and brought them down, aiming to draw blood or sever a limb.

Instead, his claws met my right arm, and instead of cutting through my flux, they abruptly stopped. A look of surprise flashed across the Moleman's face, but before he could process his failings, my left fist buried into his gut, delivering the energy of his blow back into him.

I watched the villain's beady eyes widen in shock as he was sent flying back through the air, blood spurting from his lips. With a bang, Moleman slammed into his own rock wall, which collapsed on top of him, burying him underneath.

I was moving before he hit the ground, my pace even more frantic, 'Just how many villains was that portal guy able to carry in here.'

Reaching the end of the canyon, I entered an open space surrounded by cliffs and uneven terrain. Jiro, Yaoyorozu, and Kaminari stood in the middle, but they were being corraled by a group of villains slowly closing in.

"I call dibs on the Emo girl!"

"I'm taking the stacked giant!"

"Hey there, pretty boy, let me show you a fun time!"
