Chapter 202: S-rank Dungeon: Hell of Trampling Tyrant
"I will," Alexander faintly smiled. "My daughter greatly admires him."
"Indeed, we will wait," Cassandra smiled.
"I am willing to wait," Damian caressed his beard while he nodded, a smile dancing on his lips. "He is making our guild's Anya stronger."
"Mhmm," Ray Drumrell nodded.
"Well, I guess we are waiting now," Rudra chuckled.
"Tsk. Alright, get up, old fool. It's been a while since we played our cat and mouse game," Biana suddenly said as her aura rose, darkness slithered out of her and darkened an area around her.
Her slick and sexy black skin-tight dress flickered as a metallic coating layered over it, and a fancy mystic sniper rifle appeared in her hands.
*Crackle*
"Alright," Rudra grinned.
But suddenly, Rudra received a beep and looked at his wristwatch.
There was only one message from Alfred.
[Master Almond opened his eyes.]
"Alright, he is coming."
Valentina pouted, "Just as it was getting good, he decided to ruin it. Very bad timing."
"You wanted to see us fight that much, lass?" Rudra wryly smiled.
Valentina's eyes sparkled. "Yes, of course!"
"Then tell me, who would've won if we fought?" Rudra asked with a smile.
Valentina grinned, "You, of course!"
"There you go, your granddaughter announced the result."
Bianca rolled her eyes before turning to Valentina, "You brat, you want to become like your cool grandma and even copy me completely, but you think I can't win? Humph."
"Ow, come on, Nonna."
Valentina vanished into the shadows and appeared behind Bianca, hugging her and snuggling into her hair, "I love you, you know. You are super cool and powerful, that's why I want to be like you. Hehe, don't worry, I will defeat Rudra Gramps on behalf of you."
Everyone immediately had a wry smile upon hearing her words.
Liang Zhou burst out laughing instead as he said, "Bianca, your granddaughter is one step ahead of you."
"These young ones sure have great confidence in them," Damian heartily laughed. "I like it."
"Well, that's true," Rudra said with a grin, "But lass, you have to surpass someone younger than you first."
"Mhm?" Valentina blinked, her head tilting. "You think Almond is stronger than me?"
"Come on, that's too much," Bianca rolled her eyes. She didn't believe her monster of a granddaughter was weaker than a brat who just become an Adventurer recently.
Not just her, but no one else could believe Rudra's words.
Valentina was one of the strongest of the younger generation.
Aside from Arjun's son, who snatched the 78th rank in the Top 100 Global Leaderboard, Valentina was the only other youngster under the age of 25 who grabbed a spot in the Top 100 Global Leaderboard, ranking herself at 83rd.
In short, these two were stronger than even some veteran adventurers and adventurers of higher level.
This was the reason why Valentina could accompany the top frontline adventurer in an S-rank dungeon.
As such, no one believed that Almond could be stronger than Valentina.
However, Rudra maintained his smile, his words full of confidence and trust, "He is stronger than you. And well, you can witness it yourself."
"I heard he has powerful summons," Ray nodded. "An individual like him with high combat ability along with his summons can be very troublesome indeed."
"We'll see, humph," Valetina cutely snorted and vanished as she appeared back on the rock from darkness over it. Continue reading stories on empire
'It can't be, right?' Sun Zhou blinked.
'Maybe it's right?' Guolan blinked back. 'Old man seems confident.'
'Could be right,' Liang Zhou caressed his beard.
Five minutes later, everyone saw a familiar pitch-black mobile jet with devilish wings.
"Looks like he is here," Alexander smiled.
Almond jumped out of the jet after it stopped while the Jet also vanished as it went inside his storage ring.
Landing several meters away, Almond walked towards them like a ghost, looking slow but cutting over a meter every step.
"Phew, I guess I'm not late," Almond smiled as he turned away from his wristwatch and looked at the party. "It's exactly seven."
"…"
"Alright, let us enter now without wasting any more time," Rudra suddenly said as he entered inside.
A gust of speechlessness blew past everyone as Almond rushed in behind Rudra and entered.
"…"
"…"
"…"
"The brat is even more shameless than me," Sun Zhou laughed and entered inside.
…
S-rank Dungeon—Hell of Trampling Tyrant.
"So this is an S-rank dungeon?" Almond looked at the exotic scenery ahead of him from a cliff at the dungeon's edge.
Behind him was just darkness that signified the border of this dungeon, and at the front was land littered with cracks that burst out glittering blue and gold liquid.
The liquid would randomly be solidified, creating exotic crystal structures that didn't make heads or tails, though sometimes resembled familiar things, both mundane and extraordinary.
The others also arrived.
"That looks like a turtle, don't you think?" Valentine said as she walked and stopped beside Amond, looking at a particular structure.
Almond turned to her and saw her looking at him.
"Your eyes are like topaz," Valentine blinked. "They would a pretty necklace."
'Valentine Moretti,' Almond raised his eyebrows. 'She was famous briefly during her debut but then didn't appear in public much until the last Rising Star Tournament.'
"The monsters seem to be in that area with a huge amount of crystal structures," Sun pointed his black staff with golden patterns at the area two hundred meters away.
"This is a red-bordered S-rank dungeon, so I guess we will be facing monsters above Epic level 50 at least," Damian said as he caressed his bears. "Don't be careless, you two."
It was clear he was saying it to Almond and Valentina.
"Fighting in that area seems annoying," Bianca took out a big black longbow and pulled the string, materializing a black arrow with a dark blue flame aura extending from it.
"Better to let the monsters out instead of us going inside.
*Swoosh!*
Her arrow struck the massive crystal structure that was 500 meters wide and just as tall, with multiple holes and complex passageways.
'Damn,' Almond felt a chill crawling down his back, just feeling the power of that arrow.
'What is it gonna do?' Almond watched, his anticipation peaking.
