Chapter 161: Relationship Consummation
"Goten, let me introduce you to someone. This is me in this timeline," Goku said, gesturing to GT Goku, "but for some reason, his body has become smaller."
"That's Vegeta from this timeline," he added, pointing to GT Vegeta, who was clad in his iconic vest.
Goten nodded. The introductions weren't necessary—he already recognized them. The moment he saw GT Goku in his childlike form and GT Vegeta wearing his vest, he instantly realized which timeline they were in.
'So, this is the Dragon Ball GT timeline,' Goten thought to himself, feeling a slight sense of surprise. He hadn't anticipated that when he casually sent Goku and Krillin away, they would end up here.
What intrigued him most about this timeline was the apparent absence of both Zeno and the Grand Priest. It felt oddly peaceful—a place where, perhaps, he could finally rest without having to deal with the constant chaos of higher beings.
"Um," Goten said with a simple nod, acknowledging the introductions. He wasn't particularly surprised since he already knew them from his experiences across timelines.
Goku, however, was filled with curiosity as his gaze shifted to Vados and Broly.
"By the way, Goten, what's going on with Angel Vados? Isn't she the Angel of the Sixth Universe? And who are these three? Are they your new friends?" Goku asked, his voice brimming with genuine interest.
He was familiar with Vados as the Angel of Universe Six, having learned about her from Whis. But Angels were supposed to remain by the side of their respective Gods of Destruction—so why was Vados traveling with Goten?
His eyes then fell on Broly, whose aura exuded an overwhelming sense of power and pressure. In contrast, the other two individuals, Cheelai and Lemo, didn't emit any notable energy, leaving Goku curious about their connection to Goten.
"Angel? What's that?" GT Goku asked, tilting his head. He was unfamiliar with the term, and because he couldn't sense any Ki from Vados, he assumed she might be some sort of deity.
"She's basically a god," Goku explained briefly, then turned back to Goten for answers.
Goten decided to clarify. "For reasons I can explain later, I became the Grand God of Destruction in another timeline. Vados now serves as my assistant Angel," he said casually. "It's a long story, and I'll explain it in detail when we have time."
"As for these three," he continued, gesturing toward his companions, "this is Broly, a Saiyan like us. I found him in another timeline. The other two are Cheelai and Lemo—they're Broly's friends and are traveling with us now."
Broly stepped forward and greeted Goku and the others politely. Unlike the rampaging Broly they were accustomed to, this Broly was calm and well-mannered, a reflection of the discipline Paragus had instilled in him.
"Bro… Broly?" Goku and the others exchanged stunned glances.
The name immediately brought back memories of the Broly from their timeline—a mutant Saiyan with extraordinary strength and combat abilities. While this Broly looked different, his powerful aura was unmistakable, giving off a familiar sense of Saiyan ferocity.
Even GT Goku and GT Vegeta were taken aback. Decades ago, they had encountered a Saiyan named Broly who was absurdly strong. Defeating him had taken a combined effort—and a lot of luck—because his power continuously increased the longer the battle dragged on.
"Yeah, he's also named Broly, but he's not the one you're familiar with," Goten clarified. "Okay, let's eat something first! I've been searching for you all for over a month, and honestly, I'm starving."
After a brief introduction, Goten also planned to have a good meal. Because in the past month, he had traveled continuously in all timelines, and there were many timelines without the earth, so some of the food he ate was quite unsavory.
"Yeah, okay, let's get ready."
Hearing this, Chi-Chi and Bulma quickly jumped into action, preparing food for everyone. Over the past month, the Chi-Chi and Bulma from both timelines had grown close, their shared personalities and interests forming the foundation of a harmonious relationship.
...…
After three to four hours of feasting, the group finally finished their meal. By that time, the sky had darkened, and the stars glittered above.
Goten and his group were staying in a villa GT Bulma had purchased. The property was spacious enough to accommodate everyone comfortably.
That evening, Goten and Videl sat together at a round table in the courtyard, enjoying the peaceful night under the moonlight.
"Goten, I'm so sorry," Videl said softly, breaking the silence. Her voice trembled with emotion as she avoided his gaze. "So many things have happened, and I couldn't do anything to help you… I couldn't even be by your side during the hardest and most dangerous moments."
She clenched her fists, guilt washing over her. Deep down, she blamed herself for her lack of strength. If only she had been stronger, she might have been able to fight alongside him or at least stay by his side.
"Stop talking like that," Goten said, his tone gentle yet firm. He turned to her, his eyes filled with warmth.
"You don't need to protect me. As long as you're safe, that's all I need to be happy."
Their eyes met, and for a moment, it was as if time stood still. A spark ignited between them, an invisible pull drawing them closer together like magnets.
Slowly, they leaned toward each other, the distance between them shrinking.
Just as their lips were about to touch, a loud cough broke the moment.
"Ahem… Lord Goten," Vados interjected, her voice dripping with amusement. "If you're feeling really horny, perhaps you should continue in your room?"
Both Goten and Videl froze, their faces flushing red.
"She's right," Videl murmured, her cheeks burning with embarrassment. "Let's go back inside."
Goten nodded, and the two quickly retreated to their room, leaving Vados behind.
The Angel smirked to herself as she turned her gaze toward the sky. She crossed her arms and leaned back, admiring the serene moonlight as the night deepened.

[T/N: This is the issue with choosing a normal girl is db universe. But this, I can accept, it's okay to be normal and weak. Others that do bullshit, like hidden potential or whatnot and make that normal person op af, that thing is an instant turnoff for me, like recently read a db fanfic with a Goten here on webnovel, in it Bra and Marron have like overpowered potential bordering on DBS broly level. Like wtf in wtf?! And this interaction had Vados being like a jealous git and then turning melancholic, bypassed it, not every fic will have Vados in it as FL xD. Don't cry! There's no seggs in this work, and it's okay, go read porn on nhentai lol. Peace out]
