Chapter 431: Venturing Out
In order for Jaden to be able to acquire the security points, he would need to complete several missions.
Missions were randomly provided by the system, ever since the day that the currency that was being used in Nazu Nation had been canceled. With the establishment of several strongholds, that was something that was to be expected.
And the reason why he was receiving security points, instead of rewards from the system, it was simply because of the opening of the store. With the store, as long as he had enough currency, he could purchase whatever he wanted.
So, different missions with different requirements provided Jaden with quite a number of security points. And it was those security points that he was supposed to use in order to be able to purchase anything from the store.
Well, Jaden felt that there was not that much difference, considering that he would be able to purchase whatever he wanted from the store as long as he had the security points.
But still, he felt that he was suffering a loss here. After all, initially, the rewards that he was receiving could be said to have been distributed randomly. Some of the rewards that he had received were actually way better as compared to others, if the mission that have been completed was taken into regard.
Regardless, there was nothing that he could change. After all, with the system already having an update, and there not being any currency that was recognized worldwide, Jaden had no other choice but to rely on security points.
Well, other currencies had been created, but considering the differences between the mutants within this world, they did not want to share the same currency. That was the reason why there were about five different currencies in the entire world.
According to the system, unless the currency system was unified, it was impossible for him to be able to receive any other reward other than the security points.
Back to the present, Jaden simply looked at the number of security points that was required in order for him to be able to create another destiny ship. The number was something way beyond what he could afford for the time being.
[Destiny Battleship Blueprint and Creation skills: Required in order for the Destiny battleship to be created: 100,000 security points needed.]
One might be wondering about the current balance of security points that Jaden had, and it was just too pitiful.
[Current security points balance: 659.]
Of course, Jaden understood that the creation skills were not the ones that were expensive, but instead, it was actually the blueprint. He needed the blueprint in order to be able to create the Destiny battleship, but still, he needed the skills as well.
With his current balance, it was clear that he was miles away from the goal of 100,000 security points. And, with every mission that he completed, the number of security points that he received was only in tens.
The highest number of security points that he had ever received after he completed a mission was only 90 security points. But for the other missions, the number was quite low.
At first, he thought that the number of security points that he was receiving was quite high. After all, many of the things that he could need within the store were only priced from as low as 0.01 security points, to as high as five security points.
Well, that was what he needed, something that even included several SSS grade abilities. And, it was the SSS grade abilities that were actually priced at 5 security points.
[The reason why the host is only receiving small amounts of security points is simply because of the host's current power. The difficulty of the mission is not that high, which leads to the rewards that the host will be receiving being low.]
[For higher rewards, only those difficult and dangerous missions can be rewarding enough.]
Jaden simply shook his head at that. With his current abilities, what kind of danger could be encountered within this world? And, as of now, even the person with the strongest ability had only gotten to the S grade, of course, that was not Scott.
Several people had gotten their abilities to improve, allowing them to be able to possess the S grade abilities. But of course, as compared to the entire population within this world, that number was only less than 100.
If he was going to do something that was going to improve the level of the abilities that the people within this world had, then that would be the same as him trying to create a condition that would lead to him receiving more rewards.
Manipulating the situation, in order to be able to create a danger for the client was not something that was allowed by the system. As for the creation of the mutants all over the world, that was something that had been done with a genuine reason.
….
The growth of the entire planet continued, even though the pace had dropped after 3 years. Regardless, there was development everywhere, which was something that implied that in the next few years, there was a great possibility of the emergence of people with SS grade abilities and above.
Jaden himself was not really sure if there was any ability that was beyond SSS grade, and the system did not tell him at all even after he had asked. Still, he understood, for them to be able to develop, they would need the nutrients from high level mutated animals.
Battles would occur occasionally all over the world, and something even more shocking actually happened about a year later.
That was the establishment of the first force of mutated animals. There was a mutated animal that had gained enough intelligence that was comparable to that of humans.
That was the first establishment of a force with a united front, that was controlled by mutated animals.
But another shocking thing happened in the following year after that, which was the establishment of yet another force, which was led by an intelligent mutated plant. Just like the mutated animal, the intelligence of the mutated plant was just like that of humans.
Due to the intelligence Awakening within the two sides, the humans had no other choice but to share territory with them. Initially, they could simply go ahead and hunt or mutated animals, and the fruits of the mutated plants.
But with the intelligence of the two sides emerging, if the humans actually targeted several mutated animals or plants, the leaders of the two sides would immediately take action, in order to retaliate.
This was something that led to the situations where the three sides fought against each other to reduce drastically. Even though they would occasionally attack each other for the needs of food, they still restrained themselves.
It was In the 6th year that finally, the system informed Jaden that he had gathered enough security points. It had taken Jaden over 3 years in order to be able to gather the required security points that were required for the creation of the destiny battleship.
But within those 3 years, Jaden had come to change his mind. There was no need for him to create yet another Destiny battleship, considering that there was already one. And, during the 3 years, he had already recruited many people that were going to be in charge of using the battleship, in the case where a civilization was going to come knocking at their door.
Of course, each and every all those people that have been recruited had signed a contract that had been provided by the system through the store, ensuring that they would not betray Jaden.
Jaden did not restrict any of their freedom, but they had to follow the rules that had been set by him. And, each and every one of them have been undergoing thorough training during those 3 years, enabled them to be able to be so skilled in using the battleship and the other ships that could be found within.
It was just that Jaden understood that when it came to combat experience, they had none. They might have been training using the simulation created by Jaden after making several purchases from the system store, but that was obviously not enough.
But regardless, Jaden decided that It was better for them to train like this, rather than just going out there and provoking other civilizations. If they ended up attracting the attention of a stronger civilization than themselves, then they would be toast.
On the other hand, they had already ventured into the sky outside the planet multiple times, familiarizing themselves with the area. That was to make sure that in case of an attack, they would be able to use their territory to their advantage.
It was on the 10th year that finally, Jaden found what he was looking for. The number of security points that he had gathered had already reached quite a huge margin. And with the use of the store, he purchased a blueprint and the skills necessary for him to be able to create a better battleship than Destiny battleship.
And the creation was immediately launched after Jaden had trained quite a number of people about how to create the battleship. This was something that went ahead and took another 10 years.
And finally, just a little after they had tested out the new battleship that was way above destiny battleship, a civilization came knocking.
But the civilization was easily dealt with by just the use of destiny battleship. And with people finally experiencing an interstellar battle, a real one, Jaden thought that it was finally time for them to start venturing out there.
They did not need to actively attack other civilizations, but instead, they could take this chance to trade with other civilizations, while trying to acquire resources. After all, it was getting difficult for Jaden to be able to get security points in order to purchase everything from the store.
But he did not need to worry that much about gaining security points after they ventured out. After all, it seemed that the system was also evolving as time went by.
