“Cha Yoon’s reflexes are no joke.”

“Is it because he’s a pilot? How can he get up as soon as the bell rings?”

Everyone praised Cha Yoon, not realizing he had gotten up to break up this gathering.

He was dumbfounded by these nonsensical words. What’s even more ridiculous was Ki Seo-jung. He was agreeing with what people were saying without knowing Cha Yoon’s real intentions.

Cha Yoon organized his thoughts as he brushed up his messy hair. Now that the doorbell had rung, it was difficult to end the gathering immediately. Even the free-spirited Cha Yoon knew that much.

Joo-ah grinned and waved the mission card she was holding. Inside the envelope, there were four more cards besides the mission card. As Joo-ah moved her hand, cards with “First Meeting”, “Flirting”, “Anniversary”, and “Breakup” written on them were placed on the table.

The male contestants, except for Seo-jung, carefully examined the cards. Seo-jung noticed Cha Yoon showing his habit of furrowing his brow, which only appeared when he was deep in thought. Until now, Cha Yoon had always taken a step back and observed. Seeing him being particularly active only for this date mission somehow made Seo-jung’s stomach churn.

Since we chose the keywords ourselves. Sae-young nodded with a smile on her face. Hmm, after contemplating for a while, Soo-ho and Min-wook took their cards first. There were two cards left.

Cha Yoon was still frowning, not taking his eyes off the cards. Seeing this, Seo-jung lowered his gaze to the cards. If he was going to that extent, it was right for him to yield.

“You choose first.”

Cha Yoon didn’t refuse the simple offer. He repeatedly picked up and put down the cards several times before finally choosing one. As soon as Cha Yoon picked his card, Joo-ah burst into laughter.

Seo-jung let out a sound without realizing it. Cha Yoon didn’t miss that small sound. He stared at the back of Seo-jung’s phone as if he could see through it.

Despite Cha Yoon’s intense gaze, Seo-jung couldn’t bring himself to look up. He just stared at the screen. Below the face with a fresh smile, these words were written:

Your date partner is ‘Song Joo-ah’.

Seo-jung closed his eyes right there. Really, nothing was going his way.
