"Ms. Mel, are you satisfied with the proof I sent you?

If not, I can continue to provide more!

For example, I can send you personal items from Mel's bathroom, changing room, art studio, or collection room—just say the word, and I'll send them over to prove my innocence!"

In the storage room of Medarda Manor, Link was hiding.

After sending the edited letter, he let out a light chuckle.

Another timeline's Mel needed personal items from this timeline's Mel as evidence?

The bed, carpet, paintings, sofa, and curtains from the bedroom should be enough proof.

If that's not sufficient, as mentioned in the letter, he could send over Mel's bathtub, toilet, art supplies, and collectibles.

After waiting for a moment, Mel's reply arrived.

"Damn it! Damn it! Damn it!

I constantly remind myself that this is a trick, a conspiracy, a ruse!

But when I see my old bed, my old carpet, my old curtains, and even the painting above my bed, I know I owe you an apology!

Oh my god, this is just too crazy!

A letter from another timeline—I really can't imagine what kind of miracle this is!

But regardless of everything else, I'm truly sorry, Mr. Link!

I apologize for my previous doubts and misplaced anger towards you. Now that I've calmed down and reread your earlier letter, I realize how foolish and ignorant I was.

Please forgive me!

Additionally, regarding your proposal for cooperation—I'm very interested!

I wonder what I need to offer as compensation to make up for it?

Money, knowledge, resources—or something else!

Whatever you need, I will certainly provide it.

Please help me—help them.

I don't want my friends, my mother, or my lover to walk down the same path again—even if it's not me who possesses all of this.

But after everything changes, perhaps I can find redemption and relief from it."

After reading the reply, Link maintained his smile.

Mel had made the most advantageous choice after realizing the reality and allowing reason to take precedence.

So what should he ask for?

The rune charms were a must; interconnected rune charms could counter magic effectively.

Besides countering magic, what else did future Mel possess that he needed?

Link's eyes sparkled for a moment as he realized what he needed.

Magic!

The magical powers that Mel had after her awakening!

Ever since Singed from another timeline sent over the blue sunflower through the attachment—proving that attachments could hold living things and transport them—he had been eager to test the limits of these attachments.

After confirming that attachments could hold both living and dead matter, he wanted to test whether they could contain energy or magic—even the wild runes at the bottom of Hextech gates.

Having developed an electric engine himself, he could test inserting electric energy into attachments at any time.

However for magic—he originally intended to ask Janna for help.

But now—

He had a new option: future Mel.

If future Mel could channel her magical powers into an attachment—then in a sense it would mean he could also insert wild runes into attachments.

Testing whether attachments could contain energy was simple enough; he could do that anytime.

But if the test for containing magic succeeded—what would that mean?

It might be possible to fit wild runes inside attachments.

The key point was that he could use attachments to harness different magical powers to enhance himself.

If Mel's magical shield were placed inside an attachment—when Link needed it—he could extract it and apply it to himself directly.

If in the future he could connect with more heroes—

Lux's Prismatic Barrier, Morgana's Black Shield, Janna's Monsoon Protection, Soraka's Starcall—all of these could be inserted into attachments and used whenever needed!

Once he maximized the attachment's capabilities—what would Sylas stealing a dragon's mother mean in front of him?

Even Sylas? He could fit him into an attachment too—ready for use whenever required!

Realizing this made Link feel excited and thrilled; his heart raced rapidly and his face flushed red.

After taking a few deep breaths to calm himself down—this was just a hypothesis that still required further verification!!

Link began drafting his reply based on future Mel's letter:

"I'm very glad we reached a consensus, Ms. Mel.

In fact, there are many ways we can help each other.

I can help avoid Elora's death; I can also prevent Jayce's disappearance—even your mother's ultimate fate can be rewritten.

However before that—I need your assistance.

Your mother once used iron charms capable of absorbing magical powers—I urgently need those.

Additionally—I need your help with a test.

The specifics of the test are simple: please try to insert magical powers that can enhance others into an attachment.

If this test passes—it will serve as your main support for me in the future.

As for wealth and resources—I will ask when necessary; furthermore if you can generously share some valuable knowledge with me—it would be even better!"

After reviewing his message thoroughly—Link sent it off before leaving Medarda Manor's storage room. Seizing an opportunity when no one was around—he leaped away swiftly.

During his escape—he noticed law enforcers had already arrived at Medarda Manor.

It was clear his actions of moving items from Mel's bedroom had been discovered.

But it didn't matter; there were no surveillance cameras or DNA matching methods—the investigation relied solely on law enforcers' experience and intuition.

Even if they tried hard—they probably wouldn't figure out how an entire bedroom was moved away.

As for motives? No one would deduce anything related either.

Link glanced back at the chaotic Medarda Manor before heading straight toward the council building.

His timeline's Mel Medarda was there.

When Link arrived at the council building—a reply from future Mel arrived too.

He had to pause his steps to check her response first.

This time there were two letters:

"As for rune charms—no problem at all; I've prepared them for you.

Regarding magical enhancement—I've tried it; it can fit into an attachment.

However considering this letter contains rune charms as an attachment—I wrote another page separately where I placed magical power within so you can extract and use it.

As for financial and material support—I won't hold back; just say the word and I can send it at any time.

Lastly about the knowledge you wanted—

I wonder if you're interested in Hextech knowledge?"

After reading Mel's reply—Link stood frozen in place.

This time he truly struck gold!

Setting aside financial resources—which he currently lacked nothing of thanks to support from another timeline's Ghiramann lady; he didn't need to worry about finances or materials anymore.

The prospect of fitting magic into attachments thrilled him deeply while invigorating him even more.

As for Hextech knowledge—

Jayce and Viktor researched and developed Hextech due to Mel's sponsorship.

As a sponsor—she naturally had rights to share research results from those she invested in.

Thus having complete Hextech knowledge was unquestionable for Mel.

However—it surprised Link that she was willing to share such knowledge with him.

"Hextech...Hextech...Hextech..." Link murmured for a moment as determination formed in his heart.

He wanted that Hextech knowledge!

But before that...

Link's gaze settled on the council building ahead; he needed to meet his timeline's Mel first.
