Dragon Ball:Vados is my Wife

Chapter 96: Chapter 95: I Also Had the Same Precognitive Dream

The truth was finally revealed.

Piccolo, the Z Fighters, and even Son Goku and Vegeta now understood why Vados was able to take down Beerus, the God of Destruction, with a single hand strike. It wasn't that Beerus wasn't strong — it was that the seemingly unremarkable Angel standing beside them was the true powerhouse.

"This family is full of monsters!" Vegeta muttered, his face dark with frustration.

Kahn, the head of the family, was a force beyond comprehension. Vegeta still couldn't fathom the full extent of Kahn's strength. Then there was Vados, his wife, who was an Angel. Bulma, although an ordinary Earthling, was one of the most brilliant scientists and wealthiest women on Earth. Kahn's daughter, Rados, was a prodigy with powers beyond understanding, and even his son, Shin, was so strong that Vegeta couldn't compete with him.

The only relatively "normal" one, Vegeta thought, might be Android 18.

Son Goku chuckled, "Haha, actually, I think it's okay!"

The birthday party continued as planned. Beerus, unconscious after his confrontation with Vados, was carried off to a room on the cruise ship while Whis joined the others for Bulma's celebration. Late into the night, everyone returned to their rooms to rest.

Above them, the bright Milky Way stretched across the sky, like a beautiful dream. The massive cruise ship sailed over the vast ocean, gliding through the night like a lone boat adrift on a river.

On the top deck of the ship, Kahn and Vados sat side by side, gazing at the starlit sky. The peaceful atmosphere was serene.

Suddenly, Vados leaned against Kahn's arm. "Husband, I'm sorry I kept this from you for so long."

Kahn smiled warmly. "Actually, I suspected it ten years ago, but at that time, I just couldn't bring myself to believe it."

Kahn then shifted his gaze to meet Vados' beautiful purple eyes. "But there's still one thing I can't figure out. Why me? Why did you choose me?"

Vados tilted her head and gave him a soft smile. "You're asking why you? Husband, do you believe in prophetic dreams?"

"Prophetic dreams?" Kahn repeated, puzzled.

"Yes, prophetic dreams," Vados confirmed, her expression turning more thoughtful as she began to share her story.

She spoke of her dream, describing a future where Kahn lay in her arms, peaceful and content, but also the sorrow that came when she awoke, realizing the dream had ended. The sadness was so overwhelming that she had cried uncontrollably. It was in that moment that she resolved to find him and spend the next billions of years together.

A sharp jolt ran through Kahn as Vados spoke. Suddenly, his mind flooded with a vision — the face of a woman he could never fully see in his dreams, but one he recognized now with perfect clarity.

It was Vados.

Could it be that he, too, had shared this precognitive dream?

"Husband?" Vados asked softly, noticing Kahn had become distant, his expression one of deep shock.

Kahn, regaining his senses, nodded slowly. "I believe it. I also had the same dream as you."

Vados blinked, her face softening as she smiled gently. "Thank you."

Kahn pulled Vados closer, holding her in his arms. It was no longer about chance or luck. Their meeting had been written in destiny. They had been bound together in a prophetic dream, and now they had come together in reality.

Kahn couldn't help but marvel at the impossibility of it all. It was more astonishing than his very arrival in the Dragon Ball world itself.

"Wife," Kahn said softly, "You are the Angel from the Sixth Universe. Why did you leave your post and come here to Earth? Did the Grand Priest approve?"

Vados' eyes glinted with a mix of mystery and reluctance. "Husband, let's not talk about that. The Grand Priest… eventually agreed."

Her eyes seemed to avoid his, a hint of discomfort in her expression. Kahn, sensing her hesitation, decided not to press further.

"Alright, we don't have to talk about it if you don't want to," Kahn agreed, letting the topic drop.

It didn't matter how the Grand Priest had come to accept her decision. What mattered was that they had been married for years, with a daughter, and a life that was far more important than any past discussions.

The two sat quietly together, watching the stars above, as if the world had shrunk to just the two of them. Time seemed to stand still.

After a while, Vados spoke again. "Husband, there's something I need to tell you. Do you want to hear it?"

Kahn looked at her, curious. "Of course, what is it?"

Vados took a deep breath, her voice slow and measured. "I once used my staff to look up some things about your father, Bardock, and I found something interesting… about you."

Kahn raised an eyebrow, intrigued. "About me? Are you talking about the night Planet Vegeta was destroyed, when my father sent Goku and me to Earth?"

Vados shook her head. "No, that's not it. It's something else."

Kahn frowned. If it wasn't about that night, what could it be?

Vados hesitated, then continued, "It's a incident happed after you and Goku were born. It's a long story, but it would be easier to show you. After this cruise is over, we can borrow a time ring from Supreme Kai and go back to the past to see."

Kahn, now more intrigued than ever, nodded. "Alright, that sounds fine. Let's do that."

Kahn couldn't help but feel a strange longing for his biological parents, Bardock and Gine, who had both died when he was still young. Despite being a otherworlder, those were his real parents in this world. What child wouldn't want to know more about their origins?

But there was something else Vados said that caught his attention.

"Husband," Vados added, "When we go back, we mustn't interfere with anything. Everything must happen as it originally did, or it could change the course of time, and that could have a huge impact on the present."

Kahn chuckled. "Don't worry, I know how to handle that."

"Then it's decided," Vados smiled.

And so, with their plans made, Kahn and Vados looked up at the sky once more, content in each other's company, knowing that the future held even more mysteries yet to unfold.
