LIGHT NOVEL Chapter 115: Chapter 115: Is This Hero Insane?
Han Yu turned his gaze to the golden-haired girl. With her stunning appearance and perfect figure, she could easily have been a top influencer in his previous world.
"Is she the one who summoned me here? To pull me from the Marvel world, the system must have played a role. Otherwise, someone from another world couldn't possibly summon me—I don't inherently belong to these anime or movie worlds."
His eyes narrowed slightly. Though he had just arrived, Han Yu had already analyzed most of the situation. The general store system never provided detailed instructions. Previously, he had been able to complete missions smoothly because he was familiar with the anime worlds involved.
This mission, however, was different. Han Yu had no idea what world this was. Could it be the so-called 'Gaiabrand' that the system mentioned?
"Hey, where is this place?" Han Yu asked the golden-haired girl nearby.
Seeing Han Yu look at her, the golden-haired girl took a deep breath and delivered her prepared speech.
"Hello, chosen hero. My name is Ristarte, a goddess residing in the Unified Divine Realm. Due to certain reasons, I summoned you from a lower plane to this dimensional world to save a world invaded by the Demon King—Gaiabrand!"
Ristarte stood with her hands at her sides, emitting golden light from her body, giving her an almost divine presence. While her words were serious, her inner thoughts were wildly different.
"Hehe, stunned, aren't you? I'm a goddess, after all—the perfect beauty every otaku dreams of but can never touch. If you fall madly in love with me, well, I can't blame you. I'm just that stunning and irresistible!"
As she finished, she casually flipped her hair in an attempt to appear even more alluring. For an average man, this gesture would have been captivating, but unfortunately for her, Han Yu was not an average man.
Seeing Han Yu's blank expression, Ristarte assumed he was mesmerized by her beauty and prepared to continue speaking. However, Han Yu interrupted her.
"Was that glowing light behind you self-generated?"
"Pfft!"
That one question shattered Ristarte's grand atmosphere entirely. Was that something a normal person would ask? Shouldn't he be asking, 'Why am I here?' or 'Who are you?'
Or perhaps he should have been too stunned by her beauty to speak at all. But instead, Han Yu's question had completely thrown her off.
"What's with this guy? Is that really what he's curious about?!"
With a face full of confusion and question marks, Ristarte stammered, "Uh, yes… because it looks more… impressive that way."
This goddess seemed a little… fragile.
Hearing her response, Han Yu's first thought was that she was all style and no substance. Even he had never done something so overly dramatic.
Noticing the slight look of disdain on Han Yu's face, Ristarte snapped, "Hey, what's with that expression?"
"Nothing," Han Yu said with a shrug, turning his head away. His body language screamed dismissal.
"Humans are so troublesome," Ristarte muttered, her lips curling downward in an exaggerated grimace that was almost comically unnatural. She consoled herself internally. 'It's fine. He was suddenly summoned here. He's probably confused. I'm a goddess; I should be patient with mortals.'
Watching her mumble to herself with a crooked smile, Han Yu could immediately tell what she was thinking. "You're probably thinking something like, 'He's confused because he was suddenly summoned here, and as a goddess, I should take care of him,' right?"
"Huh?! How did you know?!" Ristarte's expression morphed into one of exaggerated shock.
Han Yu rolled his eyes, feeling utterly exhausted. Was this really the goddess assigned to help him? "System, are you messing with me this time?"
Han Yu silently complained to his general store system in his mind. However, he had no one to blame but himself—he was the one who had said to accept any mission as soon as it appeared. He just hadn't expected to get dragged into a passive adventure mission like this.
"This is so frustrating," Han Yu muttered, rubbing his temples.
"Alright, alright, let's start by checking your stats," Ristarte said, regaining her composure. "Once we know your exact abilities, we'll have a better idea of where to begin your training. Just say 'Status' out loud."
As Ristarte spoke, two translucent screens appeared in front of Han Yu—one labeled 'Hidden Attributes' and the other 'Visible Attributes.'
"She's probably referring to the second one," Han Yu thought.
Following her instructions, Han Yu said, "Status." Instantly, a screen appeared in front of both of them, displaying his stats.

[MP: 255]
[Attack: 165 | Defense: 143 | Speed: 145 | Magic: 100 | Growth Rate: 210]
[Special Skills: Flame Magic (Lv. MAX), Experience Boost (Lv. 4), Ability Insight (Lv. 5)]
"See? Your stats are incredibly high!" Ristarte said proudly.
"My stats are high, so why are you so proud?" Han Yu shot her a glance before looking back at his status screen. He rubbed his chin thoughtfully, ignoring Ristarte's incessant chatter. The stats are indeed impressive, but the system wouldn't have assigned me this mission if it were going to be that simple.
"Well, you won't really understand how strong you are until you're in a real battle. Come on, let's head to Gaiabrand—the kingdom overtaken by the Demon King!"
With a flick of her wrist, Ristarte summoned a glowing portal and gave Han Yu a bright smile.
Han Yu nodded and raised his foot to step into the portal but stopped mid-motion as something crossed his mind.
"Cautiously complete the mission." The system's earlier words echoed in his mind. If I just charge straight in, wouldn't that go against the objective?
Sensing the problem, Han Yu stepped back.
"W-What's wrong?" Ristarte asked hesitantly.
Without a word, Han Yu took off his shirt, dropped to the ground, and began doing burpees.
"Is… Is this hero insane?!" Ristarte blurted out, her eyes wide with disbelief.
