Chapter 3: Granger's Revelations
Everything was pretty straightforward from there.
After watching this for another 30 minutes, I calmly walked over to the owl.
"Wait Sky!" said the whole Granger Family.
I just ignored them and walked over to untie the scroll attached to its claws.
The owl who spent a long 30 minutes looking at the Grangers like they were stupid turned its head to me and noticed my demeaner.
Probably relieved to see someone sensible it stretched out its claw for me to unfasten the letter that was on its leg.
"oof, This parchment must have weighed a lot. Your awfully strong aren't you?" I exaggerated with the owl.
The Owl didn't seem to mind as it puffed out its chest.
The owl looked like a generic light brown tawny owl.
He looked friendly enough.
I took out a piece of bacon from my pocket space while pretending it came out of my pocket.
it was still warm to the touch.
The owl took it and seemed to enjoy it.
"Now please wait over by the window sill as we resolve this could you?"
The Owl bobbed its head in affirmation as it flew to the said window sill it flew in from.
"That was bloody amazing. How did you do that?" said the male of the granger family.
I just smiled as I responded "It doesn't take much. Judging by the thick letter attached to its leg, I already figured it was trained at the very least."
I walked over to Hermione and handed her the letter.
"Here you go. I believe this is for you."
She just looked curiously at the letter and read it to herself and changed her gaze to me.
"Why did you have bacon in you pocket?" she said with a befuddled expression.
I just shrugged my shoulder.
"it makes a very nice thigh moisturizer?"
....
....
"I'll go find a spare set of clothes for you to wear. Your pants pocket is probably filled with grease. It's probably best to toss that pair in the bin." The mother finally interjected with a look of exasperation.
"Thank you Mrs. Granger."
These were used pants anyways.
What did I care.

Everything else after that was actually straight forward from there.
After a stern lecture regarding the fact that I had a greasy bacon in my pocket, the Granger family gave me a set of Jeans and reviewed the letter.
They were planning on binning my old pair of khaki's but looked perplexed at the fact that no grease stains were ever found on my old pair.
"Hmm, the letter seems straight forward but the notion of magic being real is hard to believe." said Mr. Granger.
"I would typically agree but let me suggest something Mr. Granger. Why don't you write a letter back and ask this Professor McGonagall to provide proof? I doubt this would be the first time they would have had to deal with people like us?" I suggested.
"Hmm, I suppose that is true. Also if magic were real, it may explain some of the unexplainable things that happened during her infancy." replied Mrs. Granger.
This seemed to have gotten Hermione's attention.
"What things?"
Emma (as I don't want to be typing Mrs. Granger all the time), just looked at her daughter with a curious glance.
"Well, when you were just a year old, you had this stuffed bunny you used to love."
"Bun Bun?!" exclaimed Hermione.
I let out a snicker and a chuckle from Dan (Same thing, I don't want to keep calling him Mr. Granger.).
She shot us a glare which we promptly looked away.
Emma just chuckled.
"When it became really dirty, we took it away and attempted to wash it for you." Dan continued for his wife.
"and every time that happened, it would always mysteriously disappear without our notice and reappear in your crip again." Dan looked contemplative now.
"After that back and forth, we decided to keep a constant eye on it and washed it by hand."
I started to think about how accidental magic could work and a new theory started to form.
"What happened when you tried to dry it? You couldn't have a kept an eye on it all the time while drying in the sun did you?" I asked out of curiosity
"Of course we didn't. We tossed it into the dryer, we aren't that poor." replied Emma.
"The thing is we found it completely clean and dry and in your crip the next minute while all the other laundry was still in the Dryer."
Intent. Accidental magic was always driven by intent.
I will shelf this idea in my mind till later.
Afterwards, they shared collective memory of every time something strange had happened.
There were many ranging from appearing in the library when she should have been in her crib to turning her cousins hair blue.
It was a lot to process but little by little they started to accept magic a little by these small retellings.
Afterwards, I told them how to respond back to the earlier letter they had received.
I informed them they could just ask a professor to come over to explain the situation better.
"How do know all this? Despite the flying nocturnal rodent making itself comfortable in our house, you don't seem to be shaken up at all. Just in case you don't know, this is considered quite bizarre set of circumstances you know?" Asked Dan.
I just took out my own letter and showed it to them.
"This is my letter. I just received about 5 minutes before you guys did." I said with a playful wink.
"You got one too?!" Hermione said with excitement.
"Yep, I already sent them my response too."
I then proceeded to tell them how I responded and they did the same with a slight addition of asking for a demonstration and a more in-depth explanation.
I also made sure to tell them to just tear off the bottom half to reply and didn't hesitate to put my
"Save the Trees" trademark to it.
I mean, why not right?
There was a knocking on the door not 10 minutes later.
She must have been close by.
I wonder if she found my trademark "save the tree's" funny.
I hope she saw the practicality it it.
