Chapter 6: Journey to the moon Meadow
As the sun rose, its golden rays timidly seeped through the dense foliage, turning the world into a vibrant painting. The trio stood outside the cave, having finished their modest breakfast. Orion and Lena looked focused, while Zoser watched them with curious eyes.
Breaking the silence, Zoser asked,
"So... where are we headed now?"
Orion replied confidently,
"We'll continue our mission and return to our town, Kairus."
Zoser looked puzzled and asked,
"Kairus? And why all this effort? What kind of mission is worth risking your lives?"
Lena chimed in with a stern tone,
"We are searching for a herb called the Moon Petal Herb. It's the only thing that can save Kyra, the daughter of our town's leader, from a mysterious illness that no other cure can heal."
Raising his eyebrows, Zoser asked,
"The Moon Petal Herb? What's so special about it?"
Orion explained with a mix of enthusiasm and concern,
"It's an incredibly rare plant that grows only in the Moon Meadow, under the direct light of the moon. Its seven petals glow with a silvery energy and are known for curing the most incurable diseases. But it's not easy to obtain. The place is full of dangers, especially with the Night Sons gang controlling the area."
Feeling worried, Zoser asked,
"And how are we going to get there without getting hurt? The road sounds very dangerous."
Orion smiled confidently and said,
"We have experience dealing with these things. We'll avoid them as much as possible, and if it comes to a fight, we'll handle it."
Lena looked at Zoser and added coldly,
"Don't worry about us. Just don't be a burden on the way."
---
The trio began their journey through the dense forest. The trees were tall and imposing, casting deep shadows on the ground, making the atmosphere slightly chilly despite the morning sun. Zoser walked behind Orion and Lena, feeling a mix of awe and fear at the eerie silence of the forest.
Time passed slowly, and as the sun neared the horizon, the atmosphere began to change. The trees became less dense, and the ground flattened, signaling their approach to the Moon Meadow.
Suddenly, Lena stopped abruptly and gestured for them to halt. She whispered,
"Something's not right here."
Suddenly sounds of footsteps begin to appear and
A group of men dressed in black cloaks emerged from the trees. There were at least seven of them, led by a man with a long scar across his face.
Orion muttered under his breath,
"The Night Sons. Looks like a confrontation is inevitable."
The leader of the group stepped forward confidently and said mockingly,
"Orion, I didn't expect to see you here. Have you come to surrender?"
Orion responded firmly,
"We're not here to fight. Let us pass, and there won't be any trouble."
The man laughed and said,
"Pass? Things don't work that way."
Turning to Zoser and Lena, Orion said in a commanding tone,
"Go now. Find the herb. I'll keep them occupied."
"But...." Zoser try to say something
but Lina grabs him from his arm"lets go"
"How about Orion? " said Zoser
"he is not that weak to make you worry about him." responded Lina

Inside the Moon Meadow
Zoser and Lena ran away from the confrontation. They crossed the edge of the forest and reached the Moon Meadow. The sight was both stunning and surreal. The meadow stretched far and wide, filled with plants that looked strikingly similar to one another, making it nearly impossible to distinguish the sought-after herb.
Lena spoke anxiously,
"How are we supposed to find the herb here? Everything looks the same."
Suddenly, Zoser felt a slight tingling sensation on his forehead, as if something within him was trying to guide him. He placed his hand on his forehead and said softly,
"I don't know how to explain this… but I feel something. Like it's leading me to a specific place."
Lena glanced at him suspiciously and asked,
"What are you talking about?"
Hesitantly, Zoser replied,
"I'm not sure, but it's a strong feeling. Let me follow it."
Zoser led the way, guided by this strange sensation. As they neared a particular spot, Lena's unease grew.
"There's movement nearby," she whispered, gripping her bow tightly.
Suddenly, two members of the gang who had slipped past Orion attacked them. One lunged at Zoser with a knife, but Lena was quick, firing an arrow with uncanny precision that struck the man's eye, dropping him instantly. The other attempted to attack Zoser from behind, but Zoser reacted with an instinctive movement, holding the attacker back just long enough for Lena to fire another arrow, ending the threat.
Lina followed Zoser no one knew what is in her mind
Time passed....
---
After defeating the assailants, Zoser continued following his strange feeling until they reached a shadowed area under the moonlight. There, they saw the sought-after herb. It stood alone, surrounded by a faint silvery glow. Its green leaves were vibrant, and its seven petals shimmered like starlight.
Zoser stared at it in awe and said,
"This is it… I can feel a strange energy coming from it."
Lena approached cautiously and gazed at the herb with reverence. She said,
"We've finally found it."
But before they could pick it, the sound of approaching footsteps echoed behind them...
